Actually, I have seen a Citicar converted to ICE, though this one was
fueled with hydrogen. I don't recall too much of the details, I think it
had a small one cylinder engine, fairly large though, maybe 10-12 HP. I
think it had a snowmobile style variable pulley belt drive.
Keep in mind you will have to have some sort of tranny. That may make
things a bit more challenging.
