VISITORS

Having been delivered way back on 11/7 easyJet A20N G-UZLA (8982) made its first visit this morning, arriving from Lanzarote. It has since departed to Corfu, from where it is due back late this evening.

The emergency runway (26R) was brought into use for about an hour & a half this afternoon, apparently due to a problem with the main runway (26L) itself (another pothole?)

*Qatar A/W A332 A7-ACA (473) was ferried from Doha to Dublin on 13/10 for painting for Blue Panorama. A320 A7-ADB (1648) was ferried from Doha to St Athan today via Bucharest/Otopeni for scrapping. You will recall that this was one of the aircraft based here in October 2017 to operate repatriation flights following the collapse of Monarch. A35K A7-ANM (350) made its first flight today as F-WZNN.

*RAM is to retire its last two passenger B763s, CN-RNS (30115/863) & CN-RNT (30843/867), by the end of the year.

*SmartWings B738 OK-TSH (28231/538), which was reported yesterday as having arrived at St Athan for scrapping, is now believed to be there for an engine change. B738s N276EA (35070/2115) & N820TJ (28218/160) left Prague today for Greensboro on return to Swift Air at end of summer lease.
