Whittlesford - gates open so drove in to the airstrip. Managed to find a
groundsman to introduce myself etc. He was friendly enough, and explained the
preferred procedure for?entry?would be to knock at the door of the house.
He said unfortunately the owner has recently had a heart attack and was recuperating
and would prefer to be undisturbed, so I left empty handed.

I was told there are a couple of active aircraft hangared down
the grass taxyway north of the easterly runway threshold, and
Rotorway Scorpion SEHXF is also down there being slowly
consumed by the undergrowth
