LinBPQ error & exit

Hello, I have just noticed that LinBPQ sometimes prematurely exits. (I am unsure whether it is an issue related to KAM driver I added recently.) Issue with incoming RF connections
Hello all, I suspect the 3 reports below were all citing the same issue that wss fixed by the release posted yesterday at https://www.cantab.net/users/john.wiseman/Downloads/Test/pilinbpq /g/bpq32/message/43072 /g/bpq32/message/43125 /g/bpq32/message/43853 I think it's possible that the new release will resolve this one also, but time will tell. /g/bpq32/message/43455 Charlie N4NVD confirmed yesterday that it fixed his issue, and I can confirm that it has fixed mine. Thanks as always to John G8BPQ! 73, Lee K5DAT

RF Path

Good evening Enjoying trying to get linbpq setup for aprs - Currently the only path I see on aprs.fi is tcpip. However, if I run Direwolf alone, I get an RF path frequently. I have digimap setup, and the aprs path is wide2-1, as well.

Strange SEG Fault - need help on this one.
18
Thanks in advance for your attention. I'm really stumped by this one. My BBS will die with a SEG fault at connect over my VHF port, but NOT when called over the internet (AXIP port) or from the keyboard. ODDLY, the RPi does NOT SEG fault when called over the air on any other aliases, but if the BBS is called from the node alias, the RPi will immediately die of a SEG Fault as it does if called directly. Any ideas? -- Charlie (N4NVD)

I recently upgraded to the .65 linbpq version and I am receiving reports that they cant connect to our BBS. Accountability for NTS messages retrieved from MBO/BBS
2
NTS requires accountability for messages relayed through the NTS including the Digital Traffic Network (DTN). If a DTN hub station, using BPQ, auto-forwards a message to a specific station, there is a record as to whom a message was forwarded. However if a destination hub station is queried as to message traffic available for download and the one making the query reads and then kills a message, is there a way for a Sysop to determine who accepted the message? And if not, could that be implemented? Thanks for any help.

Looking for testers for an AX.25 Terminal app for iOS
7
Aloha, I¡¯m looking for a few more testers to help field test Packet Commander, a new iOS app I¡¯ve been developing. It¡¯s a terminal for AX.25 packet radio, built specifically for iPhone and iPad. So far, it¡¯s been in closed beta with a small group of operators and has received great feedback. You can learn more about the app here: https://packetcommander.com I¡¯d like to expand testing across a broader range of setups. Currently, most testers are using BTECH UV-PRO HTs to connect to node running linbpq. I¡¯m hoping to gain more coverage across different TNCs and node types. (Yes, I realize this is a BPQ mailing list, but it¡¯s one of the most active packet communities I¡¯ve found, and I¡¯m hoping to reach folks with deep experience and access to a variety of AX.25 node platforms. My knowledge in that regard is still developing, and I literally live on an island with zero packet activity.) If you¡¯re interested and meet the following criteria: ? You have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 18.2 or later ? You regularly connect to AX.25 nodes on VHF/UHF ? You use a TNC that works with iOS (see the supported list at the link above) ? You¡¯re familiar with TestFlight ? You¡¯re willing to provide thoughtful feedback and bug reports Please reach out directly with the configuration you¡¯d like to test. Thanks and 73, Georges WH6AZ

WP updates from Xrouter

Result is that I get multiple copies of the same WP update in BPQ, exactly with the same MID as Xrouter keeps trying. Of course these updates are put on hold as they are way too old. Why is BPQ not refusing to accept this WP update if it already has it? For now I switched off WP updates in Xrouter to BPQ to stop it.
