Winlink Gateway question

Hi folks. I have a RMS Gateway working perfectly well but this error always appears in BPQ32.DLL. Apparently it doesn't cause any problem but I would like to know how to eliminate this error report.

"Wl2k Traffic Reporting disable - Gateway PY1XTA-10 does not have a Winlink Account"

TIA

That there may be a clue.? Your APPLICATION should say connect to PY1XTA-10 but in your Telnet port CMSCALL config should only use PY1XTA. Is that it?
?
Or, you have a configuration where you are routing gateway connections through your user record Winlink check feature, although that is very unlikely.
?
?
But, I have never seen it report the error on the status window like that. So I could be way off.? Check those two things.

Hello Mark. This is my Telnet Port configuration:

PORT
PORTNUM=5
?ID=Telnet Server (no inbound)
?DRIVER=TELNET
?CONFIG
? LOGGING=1
? TCPPORT=8010
? FBBPORT=8011
? HTTPPORT=8080
? USER=PY1XTA,202427,PY1XTA,,SYSOP
? USER=ANON,ax25
? LOCALNET=192.168.1.108
? CTEXT=CONNECTED>
? CMS=1
? CMSCALL=PY1XTA-10
? CMSPASS=12345678
? RELAYAPPL=RMS
ENDPORT

Seems ok to me.?Do I need to create a PY1XTA-10 user in BPQ Mail?

Hello Chuck.?It made no difference. Do I need to add PY1XTA-10 as Auxiliary Callsign in Winlink Express?

"Do I need to add PY1XTA-10 as Auxiliary Callsign in Winlink Express?"

Hi, Mauro:

I have no clue.
I do not use Winlink Express?.
I do not use Windows?.

All:

Will anyone else answer Mauro's question?

The CMSCALL should probably not have a SSID.? It normally is your base call but depends on how you registered at winlink.org.? When you log into your account at winlink.org do you use just your call or do you use your call+ssid? How do you log into your account?
?
If your Application line for your RMS application gives the call as PY1XTA-10? you do not have to use PY1XTA-10 as the account at winlink.org,? your account could be just PY1XTA.
?
I would not have RELAYAPPL=RMS while trying to trougleshoot this.
Comment out the line for now. If you find that you really do need it you can remove the comment.? How this works depends on your Application lines.
?
It might help to see all of your application lines.
?
?
?
Winlink Express has nothing to do with how your Gateway works in BPQ. Nothing to do there.

Ok. My Winlink account is PY1XTA and my CMSCALL is PY1XTA-10. This is my application line:

APPLICATION 3,RMS,C 5 CMS,PY1XTA-10,XTARMS,255

All Winlink connections works fine. Really don't understand the dll error msg.

You could create a Winlink account for PY1XTA-10 or take the -10 off CMSCALL.

I was confused that the error you show in the image is after the APRS config information.
?
I'm curious it the error disappears after you make changes.
?
The other thing that confuses me is that it appears that you are using PY1XTA-10 as an APRS client on your android phone?? Might be that you cannot do that because APRS.FI picks up the Winlink gateways also.? It is confusing if it sees the same call sign for different applications.? Maybe I'm reading aprs.fi incorrectly.

I can't remove the -10 because it's my Sysop callsign in Winlink. I thought about adding the -10 as Auxiliary Callsign.

The -10 in was a test done months ago. When I made the RMS Gateway I no longer used ssid -10 in APRS, only in Winlink CMS.

Are you saying that your winlink address is py1xta-10@...?

What happens if you remove the -10 from CMSCALL?

As you have found, your system is working, but it isn't recording any traffic stats within the Winlink system.

John

No. My Winlink address is py1xta@....
PY1XTA-10 is my CMSCALL.?

I can't. It's my RMS Sysop call on Winlink.

Yes, this is the error msg in bpq32.dll.?I would like to correct this.

I created a PY1XTA-10 email in Winlink and the error message apparently stopped.?

Did you request PY1XTA-10 when you sent the authorization to be a gateway?

I use the same CMSCALL as I use for WinlinkExpress.
Same with CMSPASS and WinlinkExpress password.

I’m missing something. Do you have multiple Winlink accounts?
