Can't get into my html pages anymore....

On my pi 3b....
?
I accidentally deleted my call on the 'users' page and that seems to have locked me out completely -- all I get is 'user name or password not valid'. I've tried getting past the login screen on several other machines with the same luck. I'm using 192.168.0.17:8008' as the url which always worked before to access the pages along with the username/password that worked before.
?
It is as if the login screen (in my case) is presenting a cached copy of itself. I've renamed the HTML directory, the linmail.cfg file, and so on all with the same result. And of course Chromium won't allow you to delete the browser's history, so I couldn't test that. I also installed Firefox with the same result. I've deleted the linmail.cfg file entirely and a new one was generated with the same result.
?
I have downloaded and installed a fresh copy of HtmlPages.zip - no joy
?
Looking at the linmail.bak.# files I can see that I'm not present in any of them as a user or sysop.
?
Where to go from here -- I've run out of ideas to try.
?
Thanks for your thoughts on this...

Log in as the SysOp via a login configured under your telnet/http port within the bpq32.cfg file from the SysOP login link:
http://IP:PORT/Node/Signon.html
?
Under your Telnet port:
?USER=YOURCALL,YOURPASS,YOURCALL,"",sysop
?
Then once logged in, go to MailMgmt link:
http://IP:PORT/Mail/Header
?
Go to the users tab, and add a new user for yourself.

Thanks Billy.... I just discovered from an older post that I could log into the bpq config pages without a password by going to: 127.0.01:8008 (telnetting in I guess). I then added myself back in as a user/bbs/sysop as you suggested. ?
?
Everything is working now to my satisfaction.. Thanks so much and all the best in 2025!

You can also add a LOCALNET=xxxx command to your Telnet port and avoid the user/pass prompts from any computer on the local net.
