Re: Connection isn't recognized by QtTermTCP
Okay, this is strange... The problem I had with connecting is *not* related to the callsign, maybe. Before I was going through a digipeater but now that I'm home I can connect directly, still over the

Re: Connection isn't recognized by QtTermTCP
Changing SSID did not fix the issue BUT changing the callsign (using my XYL's) allowed the connection to work AND YAPP to function as well. This is very odd behavior. Is this a bug in Linux or linbpq?

Re: Connection isn't recognized by QtTermTCP
That is typical of what happens when you have two stations with the same call (WG3K) on the frequency at the same time. I could be something else, but make sure you don't have another station (apart

Re: VARA-FM Digipeat?
Nice! I was not aware of that syntax for the attach but it works well for my example. Thanks John! 73 de Rich WA3WLH

Re: VARA-FM Digipeat?
The call via VARA format of the connect command for attach and connect doesn't support digis but the attach and call format of the attach command should. Try something like this as a command alias:

Re: Chat server
Bob, As previously stated, it is native and you need LINCHAT in the config in addition to an application line. The following is the tail-end of my bpq32.cnf file that I run on a Pi 4 ;-----

Re: Chat server
It is native but you have to at least place LINCHAT in the config somewhere. Then you should be able to configure it. You might find this helpful for the other parts:

Re: Is Simplicity Possible?
If your local trees are pines, the frequency to use depends a LOT on the length of the needles on the pine trees. Short needles kill 900MHz. Medium length do a number on 430MHz. Long needle, like
