Re: Bad config record RADIO=1
Remove the ¡°=¡° sign
ie
radio = 1 change to
radio 1

and as been pointed out, place the radio 1 line after the address line.

Well if you just want to play around i am trying to get a udp to work too¡.. but no partners.
You can try ve3pkg.dyndns.org on port 10093
I think i still have something wrong in my setup as i do not see my system listening on 10093 when i do a netstat.

How to find HA forwarding peer
Hi Gang!
?
I am running my LinBPQ BBS on 145.050 out in Greenville Tx (~50 miles Northeast of DFW).? I don't have any other packet stations near me. I can usually connect to N5COR-10 on 145.050 and I guess I could hear other stations if I changed frequency.? I have a 3 element yagi that I am going to mount on the tower soon, so I am fairly sure I'll be able to reliably reach into the big city.
?
My question is: how do I find a peer willing to accept and forward messages?? Is there a way to reach out to the sysop that I don't know about?? I'm sure once I find my forwarder I'll have more questions,? is there a "setting up HA forwarding for dummies" document somewhere?
?
Thanks and 73

John,
I just upgraded linbpq from version 6.0.24.65 to version 6.0.24.71 and noticed an error (see the Subject):
Initialising Port 01 Telnet Server Initialising Port 02 SCS Pactor /dev/ttyUSB1 Initialising Port 03 TCPKISS IP 127.0.0.1 Port 8001 Chan A Initialising Port 04 Bad config record RADIO=1 UZ7HO Host 127.0.0.1 Port 8000 Chan A Initialising Port 05 Bad config record RADIO=1 UZ7HO Host 127.0.0.1 Port 8000 Chan B Initialising Port 06 KAM Pactor /dev/ttyUSB3
That did not appear in version 6.0.24.65:
Initialising Port 01 Telnet Server Initialising Port 02 SCS Pactor /dev/ttyUSB1 Initialising Port 03 TCPKISS IP 127.0.0.1 Port 8001 Chan A Initialising Port 04 UZ7HO Host 127.0.0.1 Port 8000 Chan A Initialising Port 05 UZ7HO Host 127.0.0.1 Port 8000 Chan B Initialising Port 06 KAM Pactor /dev/ttyUSB3
