How to find HA forwarding peer
Hi Gang!
?
I am running my LinBPQ BBS on 145.050 out in Greenville Tx (~50 miles Northeast of DFW).? I don't have any other packet stations near me. I can usually connect to N5COR-10 on 145.050 and I guess I could hear other stations if I changed frequency.? I have a 3 element yagi that I am going to mount on the tower soon, so I am fairly sure I'll be able to reliably reach into the big city.
?
My question is: how do I find a peer willing to accept and forward messages?? Is there a way to reach out to the sysop that I don't know about?? I'm sure once I find my forwarder I'll have more questions,? is there a "setting up HA forwarding for dummies" document somewhere?
?
Thanks and 73

Is there a way to monitor raw packets with LinBPQ like you can with BPQ32?

Hi Chuck,

thanks for answering! Removing the space before or after the @ the file is simply removed without importing anything at all.

FILE-import not working correctly for WL2K
#bbs
Hi John,
?
for automated messages I am using the import successfully for bulletins and personal messages within the bbs for the equivalent file.
Trying to send a winlink-mail or smtp-address in this way the domain is stripped an d causes an error-notification by the receiving system.
That's how the import-file looks like:

?
Same problem with "smtp:" instead of "rms:" and "winlink.org" instead of "doma.in"
Thanks once again for your steady work and updates!

LINCHAT not reporting.
What would cause a Linchat to not report to the nodemap?? Would an old 6.0.21.1 version not report due to being so outdated?
?
Configuration looks correct, the links show yellow on the map, but the chat node does not. Of course the chat node shows Not Reporting in the Chat Report as well.

Update is not yet possible...but in the future.
