Trouble getting WinRPR to put rig into PTT, using rigcontrol in linBPQ

Hi all,
?
I have WinRPR running on my linBPQ Linux machine, but just can't get it to engage transmit.? It shows it's transmitting in the waterfall, but the radio won't actually transmit.?? VARA HF works fine.? I have INTERLOCK=1 in the WinRPR radio port as well as in the VARA HF port.? Below is the WinRPR port and below that the VARA HF port.? I have the RIGCONTROL line and PTT CI-V both disabled and enabled, but I don't think I need them enabled since INTERLOCK=1 is enabled.? My VARA HF port has all the RIGCONTROL and PTT config enabled and working with my IC-756Pro.?? LinBPQ version is 6.0.24.45.? Any help greatly appreciated, 73.

Qttermtcp teletext control codes

Hello
Could someone point me to the right display control codes for triggering and displaying in the teletext window.? The closest thing I can find so far are the prestel control codes and I have only been able to produce colored text with those.
?
Thanks in advance?
Joey?

Field range values

When setting up the timing for mail forwarding/ reverse, what is the max value that can be entered into the fields for these settings (seconds). BTW minutes seem to me as a better value rather than seconds.
the reason I ask is I want to poll for DTN traffic only 2 to 4 times a day, but those values are large when expressed as seconds.
TIA
jim?

Re: Need to reset frequency on radio after forwarding

Thank you for your response but I need a bit more help, when you get time.? My station was setup by another Ham to be used for a DNTS station receiving traffic from the Region 12 hub.? As such, he did most of the work on getting it running based on his station config.? Here is a section of my config that I have tried a couple things to incorporate your advice.? Can you help me modify my contig to work with the DisconnectScript?? I have only one radio, a IC-7300 running VARA.
?
Thanks

If you are a gateway already then you will have to make an adjustment for that.? i.e.? Gateway call N5MDT-10 (for example) that is in the application RMS line, with the actions being C [port] CMS.? and N5MDT-11 with a application that has the action C RELAY.? Of course Relay has to be defined.? -10 goes to the Winlink CMS Servers while -11 would go to Relay and be held.
?
This way it is completly separate from the BBS and the local post office keeps the messages there for pickup by the recipient.? No gateway authorization should be necessary.
?
And, you can configure Express to connect to relay using the Telnet Post Office session.? It works as any other session but does not connect to the CMS, it only connects to Relay.

Ok I went back and in fact found that some users did not have the ‘Don’t add winlink.org’ checked
once that was done . it worked perfectly

Thanks

Unless there is a way to stop winlink express from appending the @winlink.org when using winlink telnet to BPQMail
I will update my addressbook to include the full address incluing @ home bbs

Thanks

Note: yes I originally was trying to do bulletins but found I was asking for more then BPQmail we written for?
so i decided to go another route and using winlink express to build a group address and send it that way

In your other message stream you asked for posting a bulletin.? Winlink Express will not post as a bulletin.? It is a personal mail client.

now i need a way to remove the
@winlink.org?

since what needed was a way to post
from winlink to boqmail as if the
the message was sourced on the bbs
but it seems it is getting tougher

didnt want to setup a low power winlink express hf user and connect to the?
bpqmail

these users are not hams but rather shares users

You can specify a Disconnect Script for a port. If you need more than one command seperate them with |

DisconnectScript=RADIO 5 14.103 USB

It goes in the CONFIG section of a PORT config.

Correct they are on vara in a closed HF environment using winlink express to connect to bpqmail?
I tested and can originate from a group list from Winink and post to the bbs
but I was hoping I can do something like that from within bpqmail without having to?
use an external feed

Thanks
