Hello Robby,

Try adding "USB" in the second radio statement - RADIO 7.100 USB assuming you are staying on USB.

I agree.? I have verified, mutiple times that his UDP port is open so I do not believe that to be the problem. I have seen, when he does connect, that only one node appears, K7OI-5 without an alias.? In the Routes his connection shows with a Remote Quality of 0.? But looking at the BBS logs on connection his response is:
?
OINODE:K7OI-5} Connected to BBS
?? ?? [BPQ-6.0.24.31-B2FWIHJM$]
?
So, he does have a node alias, it's just not sending his node information.? That's the reason I thought about the Quality, UDP, and Broadcast Nodes statements.

Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA

Setup a tcp packet capture to listen on inbound axudp traffic port.
Narrow it down to the remote side IP and see if anything is even coming in.

Often with non BPQ systems, or some ISP routers, the source port is not as expected.

Mark,

Despite all of your recent recovery and update efforts, our AXIP link remains broken. I can connect to node K7OI-5 but nothing happens beyond that. And your BBS remains unresponsive. Suggestions anyone?

Best regards,

The beta upgrades are recommended for all that have the skills to move files to the appropriate place. Some updates include enhancements. Some, like this last update, includes security updates.

Re: Vara & BPQ

So, I tested with the latest version of BPQ and activated the KISS port, and not only is my HF?
station IDing, it is also sending my nodes list out with VARA HF. I don't know if the netrom
is working, but I will have to test it with KP3FT over the weekend.??

Re: Vara & BPQ

Jean,
?
Forwarding with VARA both HF & FM work great with BPQ. We have started a VARA HF forwarding network here on the East Coast of the US.?
?
I have added a KISS port that uses the KISS port number in the VARA HF modem, my station id's using kiss but no netrom.?
?
Check out tprfn.net for our forwarding effort.
