Vara Minimum Bitrate Suggestion

John, is there a way to either set a minimum bitrate level in a Vara port, or connect script, to prevent connections that go on for an excessive amount of time?
?
And can the value be read periodically and a disconnect issued should the bitrate fall below the setting for more than x number of retires or something?
?
?
Perhaps a future enhancement?

BBS Error not connecting on all our linbpq nodes with latest 2 versions.

I recently upgraded to the .65 linbpq version and I am receiving reports that they cant connect to our BBS.

It would just disconnect if connecting via the node to BBS or directly to BBS via alias or calling.

Multiple Port APRS Digi different WIDE configuration

?MaxTraceHops=2 ; Max value of n in CALLN-n processing. If a packet is received with n greater than
?MaxFloodHops=2 ; this, the value will be replaced BEFORE it is decremented.

I would like to achieve the following Digipeating (GATEDPATH from IS to RF is fine):

Adding port number in BBS log

John, is there a way to add the port number from which a connection is made in the BBS log? If I had the ability to extract by port number it would help diagnose some things.? For example, I would like to see the log for all my Vara connections, i.e. Port 5 and not all the AXIP port connections.? So, just having the port number in there we can extract what we need through grep or whatever.
?
Thanks

Re: WinRPR Oddities

Thank-you for pointing me back to enabling KISS in WinRPR. When I enabled it previously, I misread the message in the attachment and thought I had actually disabled it. I guess it means that the non-KISS input is disabled.

WinRPR uses WA8DED Host Mode, and with that the monitor does not differentiate between TX and RX frames.

When you tried KISSHF did you enable KISS mode in the WinRPR config?

2) When advised to try the KISSHF driver, I did, and the correct color is displayed in QtTermTCP for transmit, but the radio is not keyed.

My current port is as follows. When I change to use the KISSHF driver, the line DRIVER=WINRPR is replaced with DRIVER=KISSHF, and the KISS related parameters are un-commented.

PTT is handled via CAT commands. BPQRemotePTT and com0com are running on a Win10 desktop with WinRPR. LinBPQ communicates with WinRPR over the network.

New version - fixes Account Name replace by Signoff Message in the ISP Interface configuration

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I've uploaded new versions of LinBPQ and BPQ32 to my Beta site and github. These should fix the problem with the Mail ISP Interface configuration.

It also sorts the Routes lists and adds a prototype for an AXIP status page at /Node/AXIP.html in the management interface.

Re: SCS PTC-IIIusb Settings Help

The PSK and FSK levels are right there on the Winlink Express Pactor settings page, along with the delay settings which you already have.? So if it works on WE you should expect them to work in BPQ.
?
If you are using BPQ Pactor port to connect to a gateway call you MUST have B2 enabled in the forwarding record, and preferrably the B1 left unchecked.
?
If you are connecting to a BBS call then B1 checked and not B2, although if the other end only accepts B2 then it does not hurt to bave both checked.? I have found that B2 seems to be favored when both are checked so it's your call on that.

Re: SCS PTC-IIIusb Settings Help

I still get the one green light then solid green until it times out.
I am pretty solid that this is some kind of timing issue, but not sure
how to remedy it. I have no clue why it would work with the WLE
client, but not BPQ32. There has to be some undocumented settings in
either WLE or BPQ32 that are not matching. This could be a radio
setting or a TNC setting, but I have no clue what either sends to the
TNC and/or the radio as initiation parameters. I have the same issue
with the Alpha terminal software. Only WLE works, but only WLE
controls other parameters based on the radio model too. BPQ is
controlling my radio but not adjusting anything other than the
frequency.
