Thanks John,

I installed qmake6. Then downloaded the QtTermSource.zip from your site. I extracted then ran qmake6 and got this error:

Until recently there was a bug where if you ran it in single window mode with a combined terminal and monitor screen with AGW enabled the AGW monitor session would grab the whole window and connect was greyed out. Fixes are to upgrade or run in multi window (MDI or Tabbed) mode.

Setting myself (SYSOP) up as a user in mail mgmt

Hello all,
I am very new to linbpq32 so forgive me in advance
I cant find this info anywhere but do I add myself into the mail forwarding? I have seen examples wherer people have added themselves and connected to themselves in the script. I tried that with hesitation, and of course piles of errors in the logs, so I assume that I remove myself from this section?...

BPQ Disconnect Script

I've added a option to run a set of node commands when a port disconnects. This only works with ports that need an ATTACH before use (ie not KISS ports).

The configuration command format is something like this, and goes after the CONFIG command.

?DisconnectScript RADIO 11 14.102 USB|uz7ho 11 modem AFSK AX.25 1200bd|uz7ho 11 freq 2000

ie Node commands separated by | characters. Note the script runs after the port has detached so you can only use Node commands, not modem commands.

So this can be used to reset the modem or centre frequency on QtSoundModem I've added node level versions of the UZ7HO Modem and Freq commands - see the above example for format.

John

Re: QtSoundModem MEMAX25?

As the latest QtSM supports IL2P I've added a tag of the mode the packet was received in.? Values are AX25, FX25 (packet corrected by fec, not just sent using FX25) or IL2P.
MEM is added if the packet has been corrected by Memory ARQ (where sound samples from retries are combined to form a good packet).

# Indicates this decoder was corrected by MEM ARQ. # Has always been there, but adding the MEM tag is new.

The 0 is part of an experimental system to measure that actual centre frequency of the received packet. I'm a bit surprised to see zero - it is normally close to the actual centre frequency.

Re: Return to Node instead of disconnect

Connects to CMS are processed different to normal application connects and Stay isn't handled, but it should work for connects to other applications that use an alias.

You can't use S with normal application connects, but BPQ BBS has a command to return to node (Node).

APPLICATION 2,RMS,C 10 CMS S,VE1LG-10,KINGRMS,255

Yet when I issue bye from CMS it disconnects.? This is in QtTermTCP via telnet to my node, not over RF, if that makes a difference.

Also, how would I add S to the BBS

Re: QtSoundModem MEMAX25?

That entire [segment] is new in the .64 build.

MEM is a hit match on the MEMory ARQ which when a repeated packet that is corrupted by noise, it is confident that it decoded a good packet using the error correction memory cache. I might not be 100% on this but its what I have learned so far.
