Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA
He has working AXIP links and BBS forwarding with many others so I don't believe he is misconfigured. It's that selected? stations cannot establish a working two way link with him. I kept saying that (no-ip) was causing it. But who knows?
I myself have other AXIP/BBS partners using without issues.? It seems so random. There's no logic to it.
Best regards,
Gary, K7EK

Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA
Yes, he could be missing any of those 3 in the AXIP port configuration - corrected UPD to UDP. QUALITY=203
BROADCAST NODES
UDP 10093
Also port forwarding of UDP 10093 in his home router could be either misconfigured or not configured. 73, Lee K5DAT On Sat, Aug 31, 2024 at 6:25?PM Mark Taylor via <mtaylor=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA
Mark,
Despite all of your recent recovery and update efforts, our AXIP link remains broken. I can connect to node K7OI-5 but nothing happens beyond that. And your BBS remains unresponsive. Suggestions anyone?

Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA
Hello Group;
?
I have successfully updated at least to the 6.0.24.30 version and higher versions in mail and chat.
?
Thanks to Ray N3HYM it is all running well
And we found that my old version would not update correctly to the .42 else Mail and Console ANd CHat would not function also Rig control
with the upgrade. However, the entire system is operating well now using 6.0.24.30?
I will probably wait for the New Installer for the .42 upgrade.
?
SO thanks everyone for the help.
?
My sports Jersey # in High school was 72 for both soccer and basket ball and never played well with #42. Maybe a sign?

Re: UPDATING BPQ 32 from 6.0.23.1 to BETA
George, use the full installer to get yourself a working installation first. We can help you through updating it later.
?
The beta upgrades are recommended for all that have the skills to move files to the appropriate place. Some updates include enhancements. Some, like this last update, includes security updates.

Re: Vara & BPQ
Jean,
?
Forwarding with VARA both HF & FM work great with BPQ. We have started a VARA HF forwarding network here on the East Coast of the US.?
?
I have added a KISS port that uses the KISS port number in the VARA HF modem, my station id's using kiss but no netrom.?
?
Check out tprfn.net for our forwarding effort. |
Re: Vara & BPQ
You can forward with VARA.

Normally you can't send node broadcasts on VARA. I did add a Netrom over VARA option but it didn't really work very well. 73, John a On 31/08/2024 03:48, Jean L¨¦tourneau wrote:
