Acually, it looks like you are trying to access your node as if you are a gateway, and since you are not it will indeed fail. It's easier to do what you want without being a gateway, I believe.? (If

John, I have to apologize as it is the CMS server of Winlink what is doing the dropping of in-line attachments and not the BBS. I logged into the CMS server from packet to read my test messages

I have not registered to be a Winlink gateway as I thought this was just for my purposes. Maybe this is the issue ? RF port can be used to access your BBS....yes Winlink client has my call sign
