I added call, alias and quality,
APPLICATION 4,DXC,ATT 2 127.0.0.1 9000 TELNET,VE2PKT-9,DXCPKT,254
now if I try to connect ve2pkt-9 I get:

??? I did try that:

it connect but disconnect right away, the login prompt do
not show up.

to the ip / tcp port that dxspider uses.
