There could be tons of reasons.

The WP message did not come from Gary himself, but from one of his forwarding partners, VE3CGR, Ron, is the one I received.
If this is a new connection between them then Gary could have connected to VE3CGR creating his own user record on Ron's BBS, and put in his HomeBBS incorrectly, or
Ron, when adding Gary's user record, he made the mistake.

It's possible that the K7EK BBS HA is incorrect in the K7EK Forwarding record at VE3CGR.

Could be something else... I don't think it is possible that a personal message from a third party just passing through Ron's BBS would alter the entry in the VE3CGR BBS, but probably only John would know that for sure.

I just went into my WP and fixed it. Mistakes often happen.? I always create my own user records on new connections to minimize this, but I have made mistakes, like anyone could.
