Normally the from address of a mail message should be a valid callsign, or at least a string that could be a callsign. SERVICE doesn't conform. There are a few hard coded exceptions (SYSTEM, SYSOP and others) but SERVICE isn't one of them.
There is a check box on the mail config screen to disable this check if it bothers you but that can have other consequences.
