I have just seen on the space weather
web site that some severe GPS disturbance was also seen on the
20th. No timings given, so maybe another coincidence?

Thanks for the
charts.
It certainly looks as
though something
disturbed the ionosphere at that time, but what caused it
is the question.
It was just before
sunset for the paths to
Anthorn and Skelton, but after sunset for 23.4kHz.
?
The C4.3 flare at
17:18 shows up well on
Paul's chart as it does on mine so I would have expected
something
of similar intensity
to cause the bump at
19:00. Whether the much larger disturbance at 19.6 and
22.1 was a coincidence
or an indication of
its source is another
question.
