This image caught yesterday shows the diversity of echo shapes we are seeing on the "live" waterfall display. The strong echo seen at the bottom of the displays was of roughly equal strength in both Horizontal and vertical polarisations at NW Hampshire and was seen faintly at Norman Lockyer but not at all by Armagh. The complex echo above it was seen quite differently from the different locations. The smaller echo seen by NW Hampshire Horizontal but not vertical was also seen faintly at Norman Lockyer but not at all by Armagh. There is so much to study.? And we are still looking for a radio quiet location in Scotland for another receiver.
