U3A R09 Session 6 What the Bible is About #Term4 No class 12/11/2020.
#term4
Good afternoon, everyone. I regret that due to a personal issue I must cancel the 12 November 2020 session of R09 What the Bible is About tomorrow from 1100-1230.? I'm terribly sorry. I hope to see you all Thursday week, 19 November 2020 at the usual time. Please email me at ray.sarlin@... if you have any questions.? Thanks. Take care and keep safe. Blessings, Ray |
Definitely disappointed, Ray, but personal matters take precedence. ?I'm so glad you sent R09ers the Tuesday invitation and l could enjoy that this week. The parallels with modern times you touched on were fascinating. Thank you. You have always been careful to not let personal opinion colour your teaching, except for a couple of times recently, when l very much agreed with your comments. Now, owning? a phone with internet means l'm not stuck with mainstream biased media and can listen to more balanced but less broadcast views. (Andrew Bolt's, for example.) It'll be interesting to watch the outcome of the Republican Attorneys General with their taking Pennsylvania to task over illegally rewriting election process.... The art work you presented on Tuesday l find a huge help, as the visual combined with audio aid memory. You didn't show my favourite Vashti depiction yesterday, though - the Edwin Long, which invests her with inner dignity. It's as if she's weighing up the consequences of her choice against keeping her integrity. Quite pensive rather than vamp. Have a blessed week, Ray. I'm looking forward to commencing Hebrews next week. Christine On Wed, 11 Nov 2020, 4:41 pm Ray via , <ray.sarlin=[email protected]> wrote:
