Merlene, your Rapunzel height views must be stunning. But to access your car via the stairwell would require a lot of effort unless you've mastered the sport of bannister sliding. It's a blessing the power wasn't down. (I filled a thermos in case, remembering 2017 and the distressing reality of no hot coffee.)

Thanks for your good wishes.? While Sienna's knee is technically broken, it seems that it is closer to dislocation with the key parts intact.? That's great news.? My knee still has some residual shrapnel from many years ago in it (they weren't as comfortable with microsurgery back then) and it was years before I could sit for more than an hour without my leg seizing up.? I am so pleased that Sienna's prognosis is for full recovery after the cast is removed.? Kids are resilient.
