It's just too far away, or I would be interested.

I still have this listed.?
I gave one person, who swore he was coming after it, a whole week to come get it. He never showed up.
Another was coming up from Bullhead, AZ, but his "transmission went out after 20 miles" on the way. OOPS!
Lots of interest and stories but all "no shows".
I'm guessing it must be my location.

Hard to imagine if someone was serious and saw it the wouldn't buy it. I did, and paid more then, than I'm asking now, actually.
I need it gone by 7/16.
After that, if not sold as shown and described, I will break it down and sell the parts on eBay.
If you are a member of this group and seriously interested in the whole thing as listed, message me and we'll talk.

The Ad is also on Facebook Marketplace.
Description is detailed and photos are clear and accurate, and I have others
Thanks,
-Dan in Nevada

For sure. Not many want a project. Or another project, for some.

I suspect a big part of the lack of demand is how much work will be required to get it running, concerns about whether unobtanium parts are missing, and what you found that led to you deciding to try to pass this project on. The fact that you are at least the second person to try restoring this doesn’t inspire confidence in prospective buyers.

Ralph,?

shipping a lathe like this will run you about 200-250 bucks for freight on a pallet, delivered to a terminal near you. Upon arrival, just put it in the back of your truck and drive it home.?

Getting it crated would probably cost you another hundred?bucks at most, between the cost of 2x4s and a few sheets of OSB.

Moving the crate from the seller's house to the shipping terminal can be achieved either with free resources (seller, if willing), or you can get someone from Uship.com to do the local delivery.?

Just to give you an example, I bought a desktop lathe out of state. I paid 75 bucks to a guy to pick it up and deliver it to FedEx Print and Ship. FedEx charged me $36 to put everything in two boxes and fill them with packing materials to prevent jostling the goodies. Shipping was $104 for ground home delivery.?

Hope this helps.
