Preston,
Don't pay $25 a pop. Do it yourself. This is a job well within a beginners skills, espesh since quite a few co-enthusiasts (incl. myself) would be glad to assist. If you'd like to try, send .gif or .jpeg files and dimensions. Even WOODEN handles can be made to put this puppy back into pleasant duty.

?I just began to receive all the information regarding the 6" Craftsman lathe.? The lathe has been out of service for several years and I am just getting it set back up for use.? I bought the lathe new from Sears around 1968.? It is model 101.214.? Some years later, when Atlas discontinued this machine, they had a clearance sale where parts & accessories were discounted about 50%.? At that time I picked up a milling attachment along with a few related parts/cutters.?Over the years of non-use and several home moves, a couple of hand knobs were broken off (cross slide hand knob and the compound slide knob).? I have contacted Clausen and they want about $25 each for these knobs which is about twice what they should be.? Anyone have a source for these knobs??Preston PhilyawDeltaville VA
