@Jon,? im fairly happy about the big pulley.? my friend made a mandrel up and put it in his mill.? there was 10ths of a thou of run out as best as we could tell.? I dont have a way of testing the physical shaft.

@Greg The motor that came with mine isnt the original however its a decent british make.? The issue is that if i just sit the motor on the bench with no belt i can feel slight vibration in the bench.? So the motor does vibrate,? whether or not it still would if clamped solidly to the bench is another matter and whether or not that is accounting for all the vibration i have no idea.? The motor doesnt fit on the motor mount so someone has made up a 1/2" thick plate bolted to the motor mount with the motor bolted to that.? Having measured the mounting holes on the lathe bracket they dont seem to match any modern standard its a little tricky to know where to measure from.
