Re: Arduino tach

I might be able to help...

Schematic, parts, and code you are trying to use?

Which Arduino board?

What sensor(s)?

Are you using exactly the parts described?

What does it do instead of what it should do (failure mode)?

What are you using for a display?

And yes, quite possible that something got left out of the necessary
details published online.

I've been thinking something similar for my 618, and I do have
background in the technology if not the specific application, (robotics,
mechatronics, instrumentation, and controls) but this qualifies me for
nothing in the machining world so this I just listen in and learn.

I do have some Arduino hardware on hand.

hey folks have any of ya made a tachometer using a Arduino ? I tried
some I found online but most of them seem to have something wrong with
the code? I'm not smart enough in the Arduino world to decipher the code
. What are you folks using ? I don't want to buy just a tach from China
. I need to get one working in the Arduino platform for part of a
project I've got going . thanks
