You can make a temporary collet to hold a mill in a 3 or 4 jaw chuck
to get your job done. Use aluminum. Very simple process.

shaft.i don't own a mill yet so I've had to do it in drill press.
Does work the best and it's really slow also you can see bit
slipping once in a while. So wanna try the lathe method?
