Interestingly, the arbor looks factory-like to me (despite having no skill or knowledge of what constitutes factory... LOL. One other question: there was a package of shim spacers of a diameter that fit the arbor.? These are not the normal spacers for an arbor, and they are very thin, <? 0.010 as a guess.? Assuming they are for the arbor, what is their use?
In other news, instead of a superficial cleaning, I decided to tear the machine down to its components as there is a lot of old crud, so any chips will be down the road a bit. Thank god for? Youtube!
