I forgot to mention the manufacturer replace the broken tools
without asking to see them or have me send them in . They were
also very surprised when I told them that I called them cause
Grainger wouldn't help me .

I think the problem with the store I usually go to is they
change managers like most clean folks change their underwear .
The store I usually go to is in Reno NV . WHen I bought my tool
box there I ended up waiting almost a hour before they found
someone in a different store that had a forklift license , only
3 others stores within 50-60 miles . Years ago I took a tool
that had a lifetime warranty that I had purchased at WW Grainger
. I bought it at the San Jose ca branch in the late 80's I think
. I took it to the WW Grainger branch in Sparks NV a few years
back . They refused to cover it cause I didn't have the receipt
. I asked the guy how many receipts he had from 30 years ago .
He just said no receipt no return .

had a 90 day warranty with the receipt .

I have confirmed with Harbor Freight that they do
exchange broken allen sets for new if the old
failed.
Darn fine warranty!

Metric
might fit or might not.?
Has
anybody considered that the chuck is worn
out and it is no longer a "Standard" Allen
size??
Maybe you need
metric. Here are some set choices
available from Harbor Freight. Other
merchants offer similar ones. Charles

?What is the

1/4" is too big. The original owner
verified that I should use a hex key
but, did not specify witch one.
Thanks,
