The question comes up from time to time so I thought it might be of interest . . .
¡°High Speed¡± is relative . . .? I must admit I seldom seem to run the lathe above 600 rpm for small ¨C medium machining tasks in metal , except maybe for the odd drilling job with small drills . . .?
