I'm very careful with it and have only used it on the lathe.? It is a parallel model and the tip moves in the same plane as the dial face.
I noticed last night I went to use and the tip was not vertical.? I dont' think I bumped it or snagged it on anything.? Is there an adjustment that allows the tip? to be repositioned at some other angle than vertical?
