Virtual audio cable? 8 #plugins
The other day we had some technical difficulties with our internet. I wanted to listen to some FM broadcast music using SDR# since it works for that. But I couldn't route the received audio to my Bluetooth speaker, is there a way to do this with a plugin?

Using Memory Groups Created For Icom Radio ? 12
Hello, Terrific software. I have a very big database I created of various "Memory Groups" with "100 Channels" in each of the Groups. I use it with my Icom R8600 What might be the best way, if there is one, of transferring and using (also) in SDR# ? I know there are several Plugins that would seem to do this, partially, but would appreciate any thoughts on. Thanks, Bob

AIRSPY R2 USB GPIO 3
Hi, I have looked at the diagram but don’t understand the abbreviations for the pins. I want to hook up my usb wire directly to the board and see +5v and GND can anyone tell me which pins are the two usb data pins if indeed there are some. best regards.

Playing multiple IQ files sequentially? 16
I have many IQ files recorded during a Dxpedition and would like to play them back continuously without having to load them individually every few minutes. Some recordings have IDs right where the two files are joined. They were recorded continuously. Is there a way to play them back continuously in SDR Sharp? To date I haven't found a way to do this.

1, 2 or 3 loops? 3
Hi, Looking for some advice. I have made a receive loop antenna using a Hula-Loop and a basic pre-amp circuit. Inside the Hula-Loop I have fed some old mains flex which has 3 x multi-strand conductors. My question is: Would I be better connecting the conductors together in parallel, leaving me with a single turn loop. or Would I be better connecting them in series making a 3 turn loop. My interest is in frequencies below 10Mhz so I am guessing the more turns the better, but this is not a tuned antenna so I am unsure. Just some simple advice please. Thanks Martin

Oscilloscope for SDR Sharp 8
Dear All Beginner here so apologies if my newbie question is a tad naive. I've been using SDRSharp for sometime just to explore the AirSpy network and mostly for monitoring RTTY signals. I would like to know if there's any way to connect a cheap external oscilloscope to display the mark/space ratio (the two elipses at right angles)? Alternatively, is there a software app that looks like a real oscilloscope that would do the same thing? I realise that most SDR programs have some sort of scope display built in. I'm just wondering if there's something better that can be plugged into say, the audio repeater software. I used to use a cheap external scope in the old days with a Yaesu FRG 7700 using the audio feed. I really miss the physical buttons and knobs! TIA Trevor

Airspy R2 SDR Bandwidth Capabilities 13
I'm new to SDRs and have a question regarding the specifications of the Airspy R2 and/or Airspy Mini SDRs; specifically their bandwidth capabilities. The specifications for the Airspy R2 states, "10 MHz panoramic spectrum view with up to 9MHz alias/image free". Does this mean that the SDR is capable of scanning 10 Mhz of bandwidth at one time? I.e., if I'm using SDR# and the Airspy R2 SDR, I should be able to adjust the "Bandwidth" setting up to 10 Mhz? What I'm trying to do with a single SDR is scan the six railroad telemetry frequencies (AAR HOTD / AAR HOTD / DPU) with a single SDR. The frequencies range from 452 Mhz to 457 Mhz, a delta of ~5 Mhz. Therefore, I'm looking for an SDR with bandwidth capabilities greater than 5 Mhz. -- Sincerely, Rugby Junction WI - Where the CN and WSOR Play Nice Together! Rugby Junction YouTube | Flickr

Moderated How to add a new plugin for version 1920? 5 #plugin #plugins #sdrsharp
How to add a new Tetra plugin for version 1920? I have plugin files and a line that used to be added to the Plugins.xml file. I will add these files in this discussion thread. The plugin decodes Tetra's voice well, better than what is currently in the package. Could you please tell me in detail how to add it? Thanks. Magic line: <add key="Tetra1" value="SDRSharp.TetraNetMon.TetraNetMonPlugin,SDRSharp.TetraNetMon" />

New PC trouble 2
Hi all, I have been running different Sdrsharp versions with a few plugins by Vasili and Wraith2008 on 7th and 8th Gen i5 PCs for years. I never had any freezing or crashing of Sdrsharp. I recently purchased a brand new 12th Gen i5. Unfortunately it turns out that older Sdrsharp versions like 1716 and 1784 don’t run as expected. At first all goes well but after 8 hours or so, the audio clips turn choppy and Sdrsharp freezes when the Stop button is pressed. I’m happy with 1832 and up but I’d like to know if there is a solution to solve the problems. Any suggestions anyone? Would be most appreciated. Regards, Henk in NL

I.F. Noise Reduction and Data Question 6
WRMI 15770 is pointed to EU. I am in Oklahoma. The signal is very weak here. Upon receiving the signal the noise was to great for FLDigi to decode much. Then I enabled I.F. Noise reduction which brought down some of the noise and to my ears I heard more of the data and FLDigi began to decode more. I was told that it was coincidence. Can using SDR#'s built in plug-in I.F. Noise Reduction help to decode MFSK 32 and MFSK 64 from a noisy weak broadcast signal? @lambdaprog

custom loop mechanical constraints 7
Building on the previous thread, I intend to try to build some more antennas in terms of mechanical engineering to maximize strength and convenience and minimize cost. I am perfectly aware of hula hoops and rigid steel and pex and even corrugated waveguide based options. https://www.amazon.com/Nets-More-Fiberglass-Captain-America/dp/B097NMT4YQ nets and more sells a reinforced nyglass hoop design for use in craft projects. it's a little bit small, but i'm requesting their larger 30 inch diameter hoop via email. to go with it i made some clamps. I was able to get this made in the usa of nylon 12 for $14 each shipping included through craftcloud3d. I opted to order the simpler build I made first because the dimensions are more proper(no decimals involved) and it can probably be machined easily if I need more. The more complex rounded design here needs more polish to make it look good, but could save on materials https://www.amazon.com/Qlvily-Stainless-Thread-Threaded-Threads/dp/B0CP8Q669Y?s=hi&sr=1-13 Here is the current design: the saddle clamps are placed around the fiberglass rod and the lamp pipe inserted through the hole and then secured with nuts and washers on both sides. a hexagonal pattern is used with 6 points to secure the hoops together in this fashion. If necessary, I will line or pad the inside surface with rubber or another suitable material to improve the fitting. This will make a very stable scaffold, which can then be rigidly mounted to a pole or on top of a post any number of desired ways by virtue of pure right angle mating surfaces. This is both reusable and extensible. If I for example make a bigger loop out of pex, and want to do a double loop, or otherwise support the loop with off-center rods, such as the fiberglass chimney sweep rods I already own, that option is doable! If you know where I could have gotten these blocks made of nylon 12 for less than $14 each shipping included, I would be interested in finding out. These mounts are the most expensive part of this particular experiment. I have some other block designs I have made in the past for general purpose universal mounts which never made it past the mspaint stage, but they will be bigger and require even more material. best regards

Strange email about my server
Hi all, I have just received an email from someone called Desmond from theweathergal@... with the text "Screw you and your server". Humm, not very polite, I wonder why. On the off-chance, would Desmond be on this group or anyone know of him? I would love to know what the problem is. The only connection I have to my server is from Russia, (Moskovskaya oblast'), so it could just be random hate or a VPN or the person at this location could be nothing to do with it. Anyone any thoughts?
