Lunch This Wednesday 10/9/2024 11:45am at York/Ricewood/Bao Boys on Packard

Last week, we met at Arirang, 6 people attended.? This week, we plan on going to York on Packard.? We were there last on 18 August June 2024.? Many thought we should go there before it gets cold again, with the hope of eating outside.
?
Please RSVP if you know your plans so we know how many seats to save.? Menus for each are available in advance at?,??and?.? I hope you can make it.

Forecast is in the low 60's, so we will need to see if the sun warms outside well enough to sit there.

Meetup of Meetups Info #cal-invite

A "Meetup of Meetups" - what the email misses is the essentials like
dates and times and locations. I will follow up with that when I
confirm it, the Meetup graphic says Bamboo but the Meetup text says
Spark Central.

I messed with the referrer link some for your marketing attribution
convenience, please to click.

thanks

Ed

ps I will be out of town for the event

Re: wafer fabrication/photolithography in Michigan?

Hi, Roger,?

I was confused by the adjacency of water and wafer, but I think I get it now? The acquaintance is hoping to create or acquire wafers for chips to help in the safe water fight here, similar to what they've done in Silicon Valley. Yes? ?

The short answer is yes, the semiconductor industry in Michigan is strong. Several companies are listed here:

and here:

and a more comprehensive list of the overall semiconductor industry in Michigan here:

and

There are likely to be contacts here with excellent information about the industry,?

Other possibilities to contact include:

Ann Arbor:

Bay City/Auburn

This place is NOT in Michigan, but has online sales:

There may be more. Explore yourself with this Google search string:
