Lunch Next Wednesday 11:45am 4/17/2023 at Bell's Diner
Last week, 3 of us intended to go to Zamaan's Cafe but discovered that it was closed for Ramadan, so we went a few doors down to Vietnamese Kitchen in Colonnade Mall.? It was pretty good, so we should go back.? This week, we go to Bell's Diner on Stadium.? We were there last on 10 Jan 2024.
Please RSVP if you know your plans so we know how many seats to save; otherwise, just show up.? Menu available to peruse in advance at?, or you can always order Bi-Bim-Bop! Bells' Diner 2167 W Stadium Blvd |

Children’s “Electron Set”
?
?Anyone recall a product back in early ‘70s which helped let -very- basic electronics? I spent -hours- as a young child experimenting with it. I was ... fascinated. Before Integrated Circuits (ICs) but no vacuum tubes. Just Resistors, Capacitors, Inductors, and Diodes/Transistors. It was called “The Electron Set” and it was composed of a collection of plastic “cubes”. Each cube was clear except for the white top. It contained one electronic component. Drawn on the top in black lines was the schematic diagram of that component and the leads connecting to it, each line going to a separate cube side. Each cube side had a |

I heard about this program last night. It makes me feel better about using 'disposable' glasses.? I
plan to have a bin labelled for recycling them, and will gladly collect
any that you want to send to me. I'll send them on when they are
ready—it sounds like they are just ramping the program up. Feel
free to spread the word in your various communities. I should be able to pick them up in Ann Arbor or Detroit, or in some places in between. Jennifer Jennifer Dye 734-709-8502 |
