Here's a non-summary of the 12/8 a2b3 meeting at Eastern Accents.
First, you should take a look at the group photo for the event, taken
by David C. Bloom, who stitched the snapshots together and did the
necessary photoshopping to make sure he was also in the picture. It's

with some amount of annotation started. I'll add as many more bits of
markup as I can there, so that everyone's face has a URL attached if
they want one.
Going through the faces one at a time to say a
few things -
Wayne Baker is working on visualization
tools for mapping social networks over
time - some of them generate movies.
(I'd welcome more details!)
Larry Kestenbaum handed out copies of
his office's country directory listing all elected and
appointed officials to city, county, and township
offices.
Patrick Haggood came in from Detroit and
is working on teacher education and technology
infusions into teaching.
Kathy Brade at Pearl Crescent helped organize
the day. A "pearl crescent" is a type of butterfly.
Lou Rosenfeld is started up a book publishing
company.
Alan Guiterrez is working on and about to
release a web site about and for the people
of New Orleans.
John Hritz was at a David Allen "Getting Things
Done" seminar last week. He will be celebrating
Discardia in a couple of weeks.
David C. Bloom stitched the picture together and
made sure he was in it.
Mark Smith is also at Pearl Crescent, coincidentally,
he is married to Kathy Brade.
Not pictured: Carol Sun of Eastern Accents who
provided the cake at the end. Thanks Carol!
