I have a time-critical unusual ask...

I need to transfer a short video segment from a 2010 miniDV tape to a computer drive.
It may be the only one of several hundred tapes that I did not fully transfer?to archival storage.
The video content is needed to counter a patent troll contesting some key IP of a local company.

I have a working miniDV camcorder that can play the tape and the Firewire cabling to a Firewire card on my desktop PC, but my Win10 PC and Premiere video software versions no longer support Firewire transfers.

I'm looking to borrow an older PC or Mac for 1/2 an hour that can still do Firewire transfers from a miniDV camcorder so I can download the video segment.

...Or borrow a Firewire to USB converter device to do the same.
