Mystery Heinz 57 Vinegar Car?

Someone mentioned memory being unreliable, here is proof. While I was certain this was a Heinz car, it turns out it’s a Hinckley & Schmidt car.?

Those photos are very interesting. I must go to the basement and see what I have. I think I have Atlas #1 and Atlas #2, not the E-R. Eyeballs are better than memory.

Is this a place to ask about other than Atlas such as Minitrix, AHM and Arnold-Rapido?

If I am going to find the vinegar car i think I will have other questions.

Also there was an N scale guide by a man who lived near Johnstown, PA. It came out in the 80s or so. Does anyone remember this?

See how you are? :D I sneakily thought you might be remembering the H&S car.

Anyway, I was referencing this thread in a discussion on the Trainboard forum about the vinegar cars and saw these later posts. Sorry nobody got back to you, Chuck, but yes, threads have veered off into mentioning other brands from the same time period and I guess that's OK, especially if manufactured by RoCo or Rivarossi the same two that made the Atlas cars.

I found my four E-R Models/Roco Vinegar Cars:

040-70360 Heinz 57
040-70361 Richter Vinegar Corp.
040-70362 Standard Brands
040-70363 Fleischmann Transportation Co.

The Heinz 57 is not the same as either of the Heinz cars pictured earlier in this thread.? It has a smaller '57' blue flat car and road number 200.

More later.? Not sure how much later "later" will be.

Didn't we go through this a few years ago?
In addition to the ER release,? there was an Atlas release in the late 1980s or early 1990s.. (medium Atlas jewel case with a white label.)

Yes, there were later releases of basically the same car but none exactly like the original Atlas car(s).

And, in my previous message, I was blockheadedly thinking in terms of a forum and so, you guys would not know to what I was referring. Earlier in the thread, Martin Landry said he thought his version was an all brown Heinz Vinegar car but later wrote that he was thinking of the Hinckley& Schmidt car.
