Mine was a white Ford CT with aluminum wheels and silicone slicks, brush spring "enhancement" and added weight in the rear. None of my friends' cars could touch it. It was a bit tricky because it would do wheelies very easily. It sure hugged the track, though.

My stepson now has the car. He collects HO scale slot cars and has some pretty valuable ones. I gave him my 1964 Thuderjet set #1302 and my cars in a Pit-Kit carrying case, extra track and obstacle course set.

They should be in about 1964 - 1966 issues, of which I have very few, as that's when the big slot car craze was. I got my Aurora set for Christmas of 1964.

I did do a google search for "Atlas HO Motoring" as that's what Atlas named their series, but didn't see anything mounted on the pink style card. Most of the stuff was in blue and yellow boxes, similar to Aurora. Oddly enough, I did see a track section mounted on a card with the typical N scale colors - kind of the off orange color at the top and the rest yellow.

I'm pretty sure that in my perusal of the Model Railroader Magazine DVD that there were ads for Atlas HO Scale Racing Sets.? Now, if I can remember the issues in which they appeared...
If it wasn't that long before A1G then it's entirely possible that there were leftover Auto Racing cards, as we've seen.
