The insurance?company that writes the policy is Risk Strategies and our liability insurance cost is two hundred?dollars per year and has remained the same since I became treasurer. You may be able to go directly to the company for insurance but without the ARRL affiliation it probably?won't be as cheap as being affiliated. Just something to check into. It may be cheaper than what you have found. Risk Strategies was very fair when our equipment?was damaged due to the water issue we had. I have attached the contact information of the lady who handled our claim. She can answer any questions about coverage and is very pleasant to deal with.
