Is anyone maintaining the bolster pin color chart yet?
The ZoCal group guys are asking about the color codes, and although we
all mourn Bill's passing, we must continue on, selecting others to pick up the slack. I would like to nominate Randy Smidt as he is the national modual coordinator anyways, and in communication with all teh Z-Bend Track clubs. Anyone second this? -Robert Ray |

I'm all for it. Cliff did the second so its up to Randy. I've been using a simple green on white dot on my bolster pins but we haven't been running outside of our club yet.

decals that could be applied to the car(s) for identification. It had the Railroads Monica in letters plus the owner's initials plus a 5 or 6 color scheme. Possibly you could get all of this wrapped together. Michael's allows for far more combinations (like over 3,000 to 15,000+) if there were five or six 5-colored colored rectangles. Probably not of importance for a tiny group like a local group, but if the members get mixed up into different groups or go to national shows then it does become an important factor] Find any message of mine on ZCentral and you can see what one looks like. ...don --- In Z-Bend_Track@..., "Robert Ray" <pray59@...> wrote:

I took a careful look at Michael's decals. You can get 6.25 x 10
(with 29 zeros) unique combinations. That takes care of Z and in fact probably the whole universe. Joe should be dreamy eyed if only one-ten thousandth of this many bought Z ...don --- In Z-Bend_Track@..., "Don Avila" <d.f.avila@...> wrote: although we pickall mourn Bill's passing, we must continue on, selecting others to up the slack. |

I have Michael Hilliard's I.D. decals on all of the Golden ~ Blackhawk & Central City's locos and much of the rolling stock I take to shows.

Rob, Is there an opening for the Orange/Orange bolster pins color
chart? If not, I would like to occupy that space!!!!! Tim --- In Z-Bend_Track@..., ztrack@... wrote: while back so I could help keep track. If we have additions, let me know. Thanks,

If green on white is available, that's what I have been using. But I also know my limited rolling stock (weathered too) and my locos have BAZ BoyZ additionally on them.

Tim, Orange/Orange is available and I have put your name on that space. For record, Ztrack is black/black. LOL! Please put me down for GREEN-NO PAINT. If that isn't available try ORANGE-NO PAINT. Thanks! John On Fri, 2007-05-04 at 16:56 -0400, ztrack@... wrote:

John,
I am going off the last chart Bill sent me. Please send me the chart you are using and I will update. Bill may have added a no paint option and I will update the master with this. Thanks! Larry,
Thanks! Bill and I also fought over the black on black cars on the layout. He also seemed to find more than I did. LOL!!!! Okay, I am updating the master. What I will do is add this to the modules pages of Ztrack since I can't upload to the Z Bend Track site. Will this work for everyone? John, thanks for sending the file! updated 2/11/2006, it says) has Loren as Green-Green, and the bottom row definitely says, "NO PAINT," with Bryan Keyser on RED-NO PAINT and Z Track as NOPAINT-NOPAINT. Did something change? On Sat, 2007-05-05 at 08:52 -0400, ztrack@... wrote:

Going back in time a little, but "no paint-No paint" did belong to someone. Bill Kronenberger used to say that anything on the layout that was black-black belonged to him. Since Rob Kluz is now taking care of the list, the "black-black" rule falles to him. Congratulations Rob on all your new acquisitions.
