Randy just renamed the 2008 NTS Yahoo list to:
<>

He will give us moderator status, and we can start using it to coordinate the X2011 NTS Show. We have been using that list for years when coordinating modules for the NTS, renaming it for the show year.

Good Morning Rob,
I have been a fan/subscriber of Ztrack for several years. It is what helped keep the itch going. A very FINE publication.
Yes, if you could put a small squib in there I would apprciate it. The preferred contact would be email at: gwhackman@.... I am hoping to locate any zheads in NH. Preferably in the Southern portion, but will contact anyone who wants to talk.
No,before anyone flames me. I am not a computer hacker. I have a sidecar rig [aka hack] that looks looks something out of Star Wars. Terry in New Hampshire.

happy to run an announcement in Ztrack that you are looking for folks in NH to
work on Z modules. Just let me know.

Re: Have we one into Hibernation?

While this Group is more oriented to the Z-Bend Track modules, most of us participate and contribute more on the Yahoo Z Scale forum (), Trainboard (where you can post pictures in the threads) or Z Central Station which also has a popular Chat on Wednesday and Sundays . So you will have lots of resources and ideas available to you.

Have we one into Hibernation?

gwhackman

Hello is anyone there?
Just kidding. But, Since one of our mentors Bill K. passed. There seems to be [along with a lousy Economy] a deafining silence in Z Bend! Or, is it my active imagination? I still see lots of activity in Yahoo's other Z groups.
I am tying to get off my duff with Z scale. I have been lurking around since 1985, but until retirement [and even then] I am just getting back into action.
I live near Concord NH and would be interested in getting in contact with anyone in NH that is into Z Bend, or Z. Thanks, Terry C.

Re: S Sad Good Bye!

Aaron,
I well remember the neat picture of you winding up your arm to likely throw some runner out at first base......

That picture always reminded me that you had drive and determination. You still do, but I can understand you needing to perhaps take a different path at this time in your life. Hope you return someday.

I know you will continue to throw the hard ball at the goal in anything you set out to do.

All the best to you,
Loren

This month of June marks 7 years of business for AJ Model Trains and zscalemodeltrains.com. It has been a wonderful 7 years and I have truly enjoyed working with each and every one of you as I help you with your model train needs. It is with regret that at this time I will be taking a hiatus from the model train business in order to pursue other life interests. Due to this fact, all pre-paid orders will be refunded and the website will close June 30.

It is my hope to someday return to the model train business and be able to have the pleasure to once again work with you all. In the meantime, visit

Re: where do you get your track?

Andy - do I see #10 turnouts :) I know those are HO templates shown on the Z scale future page but #6 & #8's would really be nice. Even 4's for the yards and elsewhere. Don't know how many Wyes you would sell but lots of places for them too, like the 2 that I alread had to adapt on my "Y" module.

Welcome to Z ! I'll make sure this gets on the other Z forums (TrainBoard and Z Central stations + other locals)

I'm new to the List, but as a very Hi-Tech and uniquely Accurate DIY track manufacturer, I'm working on fixing many of the track availability/pricing issues I see mentioned here.

I'm taking the successful designs I use for making HO track and gradually working them into Z scale versions. So what I have newly made may be of help to some of you already, and what's coming beyond that, hopefully will be of lots of use to many of you. Some easy to use turnout building tools are also in the works for later this year

This is a new product announcement, so please contact me off list with any just commercially related questions.

Suggestions for improvements or other needs are of course welcomed on or off-list :)

I am looking at putting together 2 2'x4' end modules and am surprised
at the cost of track. It is going to cost far too much for the track

track? I was looking at putting in 2 switches on the corner end to
allow the outside track to continue. z-scale flex track is too
expensive for this, and microtrains track may be too. How do you guys
afford to build modules?
