Re: Wire harness help

The extension cord someone must have referenced is likely a computer parallel printer port cable which is 25 pins. However, they are too small of a conductor for the power feeds, often only 30 gauge or smaller, only enough for <<1 Amp. You should have good cables for the module interconnects so distributed power to further modules is not comprimised. But you can use small conductor wire feeders from this bus (e.g. either end of the module where these Z-bend cables terminate) to the track. #26 is more than enough for track feeders but #22 is recomended anyway, a common hook-up wire size. Another question: Some one mentioned that an option would be to buy an "extension cord" with the pin wiring and just cut the thing in half. Thereby reducing the time for soldering. Is this possible and what would be the "extension cord" to buy? I know these questions illustrate how much I do not understand about computer, electronic equipment and what pin connector can fit to another. A case in point: My husband and I want to remove the wireless router from our computer setup, but are afraid we won't get the wires pluged back into the correct spaces and then end up with a non-functioning computer. Sad, silly, but true. So thank you for your patience and help. Thanks, Robin --- In Z-Bend_Track@ yahoogroups. com, Michael Hilliard <mchwilton@. ..> wrote: < ics.com/> , a supplier Bill K. used. For a end module, instead of the single male/female connector, you could just use separate ones wired accordingly and just plug the wires into a single 6 terminal block under the module. This reduces the parts needing to be gathered. I don't have the double hoods or the PCB's for end or power harnesses, or the instructions for them, just for the thru modules. shipped directly to you, just send a check for $85.25, enough parts for 10 thru module harnesses. You'll have to separate the parts into kits yourself for your various members. I believe I'll have enough for 3 extra kits out of my latest order if you'd like them @ $15/kit, including wire + actual shipping, I "think" it would fit into a flat rate priority mail box. LMK, otherwise I'll place another order for next week to sell just kits to you. says that I actually need 1 1/2 straight through kits per T module and Ihave two T's in the making. I also need an end module harness. So I guess Ineed 3 straight through and one end harness kit. Can do?send you a copy, OK?get the 18ga speaker wire from Walmart, $8.96/100'.
