It had been six months now since Devilynn Josephine Shellito had gotten her business degree. She started her own business right out of college. What surprised everyone that knew Devi, especially her parents was the type of business that Devi had chosen. She opened up a combination gymnastics and martial arts gym/dojo combination.?

What surprised them even more is that it really took off. She has several trainers and martial arts masters and has her students cross train if they so desire. She spends her days between working out and running the business. Her nights though are spent between wining and dining investors or partying herself.?

Devi has the traditional hanger-on's and those that she considers acquaintances that follow her when ever she goes out. When she is not dealing with her business or out partying, Devi is at home planning her next party/heist. Which she was doing at this moment.?

Devi was sitting in her living room in her house that had just been finished. She was looking over the guest list of her upcoming party she had planned. She had already booked one of the larger banquet rooms at?The Nightingale. She already had, had a party at The Nightingale the month prior. It had gone off without a hitch. Both the party and the extra curricular activity.?

It was just at that moment when the news repeated the story of one of the rash of unsolved burglaries that had happened a month ago. The police had no leads in the case other than those that had been hit had been at her party. Which included her as well. This brought a smile to Devi as she glanced to a painting of a Sutherland Falls waterfall she had bought when she had gone to?Fiordland National Park in New Zealand.

Jordie had been going over the videos of the night of Ms. Devilynn?Shellito's party at the Nightingale for what seemed like the 1000th time.? He was trying to capture the instant that she disappeared, then reappeared in the video.? Aurora had wanted to know exactly how the woman was coming and going without anyone seeing her.? Finally, he had it slowed down enough that he could see it.? Ms. Devilynn would move to the side of the room then simply vanish.? A short time later she would reappear in the same spot.? Aurora had given him permission to follow up and make contact with the woman.? He printed out a few of the screen shots of what the woman had done.

He changed into a suit and tie, made his way to the city and Ms. Devilynn's residence.? He rang the door bell and waited for an answer.? Jordie was a mutant with the ability to watch, read, memorize at an extremely high rate.? He was one of the Benders of Light best investigators because of this ability.

Jordie was around 6' in height, had dark brown hair and green eyes.? His complexion was slightly tanned, and his physique was well built.? He didn't look like a typical computer nerd.

? ?She stood and went to the door. She could see who was there on the video screen, next to the door, from the camera above the door. It was someone from the Nightingale. As she opened the door she gave Jordie a warm smile. "Good evening Jordie. It is Jordie correct? Please come in, come in." She moved away from the door and to the living room. "I was actually just thinking of The Nightingale. I just got done making the guest list for my next party. I was going to call in the morning to make the necessary arrangements for reserving the largest banquet room." She stopped when they entered the living room. "Please sit where ever you would like." She took a seat on the large couch. "So what can I help you with Jordie."

? ?Devi listened as the good looking man spoke. He said the name Aurora, showed an envelope then introduced himself. Devi wasn't sure what he meant by this Aurora knowing her and what is in the envelope. It did peak her interest though. She touched a couple of numbers on the key pad. The door opened as Devi stepped away from the door. She watched as Jordie came in. She looked him up and down and smiled. There was a hint of mischief in her smile and in her eyes. "You are a tall one. Please come, sit." She motions to the living room and the couch. "Can I get you anything to drink Mr. Pierce? Water, pop, beer, wine a whiskey perhaps?"?

Devi listened as the good looking man spoke. He said the name Aurora, showed an envelope then introduced himself. Devi wasn't sure what he meant by this Aurora knowing her and what is in the envelope. It did peak her interest though. She touched a couple of numbers on the key pad. The door opened as Devi stepped away from the door. She watched as Jordie came in. She looked him up and down and smiled. There was a hint of mischief in her smile and in her eyes. "You are a tall one. Please come, sit." She motions to the living room and the couch. "Can I get you anything to drink Mr. Pierce? Water, pop, beer, wine a whiskey perhaps?"

"Please take a look and then we will talk."? He waited while she pulled out the screen shots of her actions.
