(Devi) It had been six months now since Devilynn Josephine Shellito had gotten her business degree. She started her own business right out of college. What surprised everyone that knew Devi, especially her parents was the type of business that Devi had chosen. She opened up a combination gymnastics and martial arts gym/dojo combination.?
What surprised them even more is that it really took off. She has several trainers and martial arts masters and has her students cross train if they so desire. She spends her days between working out and running the business. Her nights though are spent between wining and dining investors or partying herself.?
Devi has the traditional hanger-on's and those that she considers acquaintances that follow her when ever she goes out. When she is not dealing with her business or out partying, Devi is at home planning her next party/heist. Which she was doing at this moment.?
Devi was sitting in her living room in her house that had just been finished. She was looking over the guest list of her upcoming party she had planned. She had already booked one of the larger banquet rooms at?The Nightingale. She already had, had a party at The Nightingale the month prior. It had gone off without a hitch. Both the party and the extra curricular activity.?
It was just at that moment when the news repeated the story of one of the rash of unsolved burglaries that had happened a month ago. The police had no leads in the case other than those that had been hit had been at her party. Which included her as well. This brought a smile to Devi as she glanced to a painting of a Sutherland Falls waterfall she had bought when she had gone to?Fiordland National Park in New Zealand.
(NPC Jordie) Jordie had been going over the videos of the night of Ms. Devilynn?Shellito's party at the Nightingale for what seemed like the 1000th time.? He was trying to capture the instant that she disappeared, then reappeared in the video.? Aurora had wanted to know exactly how the woman was coming and going without anyone seeing her.? Finally, he had it slowed down enough that he could see it.? Ms. Devilynn would move to the side of the room then simply vanish.? A short time later she would reappear in the same spot.? Aurora had given him permission to follow up and make contact with the woman.? He printed out a few of the screen shots of what the woman had done.
He changed into a suit and tie, made his way to the city and Ms. Devilynn's residence.? He rang the door bell and waited for an answer.? Jordie was a mutant with the ability to watch, read, memorize at an extremely high rate.? He was one of the Benders of Light best investigators because of this ability.
Jordie was around 6' in height, had dark brown hair and green eyes.? His complexion was slightly tanned, and his physique was well built.? He didn't look like a typical computer nerd.
