Caribbean Vacation (Carmen/Rhemy)

 

(Rhemy and friends)
As dinner continued the all laughed and talked and got to know each other better. When Carmen suggested a private beach, they were all for it.
¡±That would be wonderful.¡± Alex said.
¡°I¡¯ll order us some snacks,¡± JD added
"Do you have a bottle of your family¡¯s wine?¡± Rhemy asked
JD raised his hand for the check and paid. ¡°Snacks are on the way. So do we need a car to get there?¡±

(Carmen)
"Snacks will be good. Of course I have some bottles and a car. All I have to do is text my driver." Carmen said as she got her phone and sent a quick text. "He will wait in front of the hotel for us. Shall we go and get what we need from our rooms and meet in front in five minutes? I can tell the waiter to have the snacks taken to the car, as well."

"Snacks will be good. Of course I have some bottles and a car. All I have to do is text my driver." Carmen said as she got her phone and sent a quick text. "He will wait in front of the hotel for us. "That sounds like a plan," JD said. "I'll take care of dinner, you guys go get what you need to from your rooms and I will meet you all out front in about say 20 minutes,"?

"Are you sure," Rhemy asked?

"I wouldn't have suggested it if I wasn't sure." he teased.

The two friends nodded. And stood. "Okay then" Alex said. "Meet you in 20 Rhemy," asked Carmen

"I wouldn't have suggested it if I wasn't sure." he teased.

Carmen looked at her phone, "sure, 20 minutes then." She texted the driver the new time as everyone headed to their rooms to gather what they needed for an evening on the beach.

Carmen was sitting in the limo waiting for everyone to arrive. She was feeling pretty good about her new friends. She was enjoying a black berry seltzer.?

Carmen looked at her phone, "sure, 20 minutes then." She texted the driver the new time as everyone headed to their rooms to gather what they needed for an evening on the beach.

It didn¡¯t take the three friends to appear and slid into the limo. Rhemy and JD on one side, Alex sliding to Carmen.
¡°ooo limo, nice.¡± Alex said?

¡°you know I have never been in a limo before,¡± Rhemy said?

¡°really?¡± JD asked surprise.

¡±really. I didn¡¯t go to my prom so yup my first time.¡± Rhemy said ¡°thanks Carmen for hanging out with us.¡±

¡±this should be fun.¡± JD said

¡±tell me you have a jacuzzi.¡± Alex said

It didn¡¯t take the three friends long to appear and slide into the limo. Rhemy and JD on one side, Alex sliding to Carmen.
¡°Ooo limo, nice.¡± Alex said?
¡°You know I have never been in a limo before,¡± Rhemy said?
¡°Really?¡± JD asked surprise.
"Really. I didn¡¯t go to my prom so yup my first time.¡± Rhemy said ¡°thanks Carmen for hanging out with us.¡±
"This should be fun.¡± JD said
"Tell me you have a jacuzzi.¡± Alex said.

(Carmen)
"Sure, I am glad to be here. I didn't go to my prom either. Wasn't my scene. Why didn't you go?" She asked Rhemy.
"A jacuzzi, not in this limo. I do back in the states at my home." She answered Alex.
"Is the wedding tomorrow? What time do you all want to be back at the hotel?"

"Sure, I am glad to be here. I didn't go to my prom either. Wasn't my scene. Why didn't you go?" She asked Rhemy.
"A jacuzzi, not in this limo. I do back in the states at my home." She answered Alex.
"Is the wedding tomorrow? What time do you all want to be back at the hotel?"

Alex laughed. ¡° I don¡¯t mean in the limo. I mean back at ya resort we were going.?I think the wedding is tomorrow at two so as long as we¡¯re back in enough time to get dressed and not have to hear her mouth we should be good. After all, she¡¯s not our mother.¡±

¡±My the boyfriend told me he had a surprise for me. The surprise was he took me behind the library and tried to have sex with me and his car. I told him to take me home, and when he refused, he put me on his car and I had to walk to use my cell to call a cab.¡±

¡±Dang Rhem¡± JD said

Rhemy shrugged. ¡°I was really stupid. I wanted to believe he liked me when I knew she didn¡¯t. He only asked me out because some stupid bet. I was the only cheerleader on the team that hadn¡¯t been with a member of the football team and there was some race against Time to be my first. Leave it to me to go to high school with a bunch of people from a really bad teen angst dramedy .¡±

Then she turned her attention to Rhemy again, "yeah, high school wasn't really my scene either. So, what does everyone do for a living in today's grown up world?" She asked as her hand brushed the back of Rhemy's neck as she placed her arm along the seat behind her.

¡°That¡¯s where we know the raging harpy from,¡± Rhemy said.?

¡°Actually none of us have spoke to her in years,¡± Alex said?

¡°Which is why it was so shocking when she invited her to her wedding.¡± Alex said

¡±But we appreciate you for the distraction,¡± Rhemy said with a smile.

Carmen was hoping that the talk about the bride was done, but apparently not. "You all sound like you do pretty well for yourselves. Tell me some of the interesting sights in DC and New York, your favorites places to haunt." She gave Rhemy a smile, "I am glad to be a distraction."
