He was given two
leads¡Zsa Zsa and Arrow who sounded like he was dead.? There was a deep
grim expression on his features.? Seems like someone was definitely trying
to bring him down and his woman by connection.? So it was aimed at him he
thought.? ¡®Something else was going on, but the finger was pointing at
him¡but that seemed a bit too obvious even to him.¡¯
He realized
there was a part of him that seemed to think something was pulling them apart
even though he tried as did she there was that part that loved her more than he
wanted to admit or accept.? Now they had chosen to stay together he
wondered when she would leave again¡or was that just him not wanting to accept
and be¡happy.? She chose to stay with him this time and he needed to just
be happy.? They lived together now after years of not.? Now he should
be content and yet fear seemed to set in and now¡now it seemed to be playing
out and pulling at them yet again.
He looked at her
smelling the sweet clean scent coming off of his heart.? He looked at her
and wanted to smile but didn¡¯t.? ¡°Sorry my mind getting away from
me.¡±? He said as she replied to his comment.??¡°Sounds like Arrow
was ambushed and Zsa Zsa was the one that gave him the information so I think
we need to check that out first?¡±? He looked at her.

Katya finished
putting on her boots and looked at the concern on her love's face.?
"Ambushed, while you were on the phone?? Well, that isn't good.?
Shouldn't we start there or do you want to get to Zsa Zsa before anyone else
does?"? She wondered.? She pulled out her phone and started
checking her contacts to see who she needed to contact.? Deciding on Eryk,
she waited until Ashton responded.? "You drive."? She said
tossing him the keys to the vehicle.? She followed him out, setting the
alarm and locking up before they left.

Ashton was not happy at losing a friend, but he could get there only to eye and
identify the body.
He would go see Arrow as soon as this was over but he needed
to get to ZsaZsa first.? She had
questions to answer.? The look on his
face was relaxed but he had been with Katya long enough for her to know that it
was more a frustrating concern.? She
could still read him, he couldn¡¯t remember when they weren¡¯t lovers in his
heart she had always been that missing piece¡vampire or no.? It was something about loving another
immortal, he was a fallen, she was a vampire and now with a daylight ring, they
could truly be together...forever? He
wasn¡¯t sure if they could work together, he was hoping that they could but he
wasn¡¯t sure right now.? He could be moody
as hell when he was on a mission and his current mission was protecting his
woman...at least her reputation.?

She knew his place and his calling and she was willing to help
him in his quest for redemption¡but redemption from and for whom?? He loved her¡NOW and didn¡¯t want to leave her
and even if he regained his angelic status¡he wasn¡¯t leaving her¡he wasn¡¯t not
going to sleeping with her¡amongst other things.? Katya had broken him long ago and their
loving had become more than physical and his very soul belonged to her.?

?He smirked as she
bypassed all of his fake bull that made him unreadable by most people save
her.? He so wanted to grab her and slam
her into the walk and take her right there¡he was in the mood to have her
yes¡but not make love to her.? But that
was something that would have to wait as well.?
"You look amazing as always, my heart."

?He listened to her
and shook his head as he smirked she was clearly in his mind but still wanted
to know where he was currently.? ¡°I don¡¯t
see the reason to rush to Arrow if he is already dead!? He will still be dead when we get there.? I need an answer from ZsaZsa first..before
someone else gets to her.¡±? He put his
glasses on that would change in the light, but they hid the true color of his
eyes, instead of the almost electric green, at least most of the time.? He looked at her and smirked, snatching the
keys out of the air, that she had tossed to him.

She probably knew he wanted to kiss her so badly, but that
was how they were, he was often affectionate, truly desiring of her and
sometimes¡it was just the wrong time¡but it didn¡¯t quell that longing for her
it was something that hadn¡¯t faded over time together or apart.

?He waited for her to
get in as he mentally mapped out the places that ZsaZsa might have been and one
stood out over all others.
It was a safe house that he knew about if she was truly on
the run she might go there.? It was the
one place that he knew about from her and Arrow.
?
He liked to keep tabs on those he worked with, he knew of
her but he didn¡¯t think she would give him bad information without reason¡why
and what was the reason?? If she knew
Arrow was dead she would make it a point to get scarce so he would need to get
to her soon, like yesterday.

?He moved the car from
the garage and waited for his beloved to get in.
Once she had¡he turned to kiss her deeply, wantonly,
passionately.? Sure it was the wrong
time, but he didn¡¯t know when they would get another chance.? There were times when he shifted to work mode
he forgot he was love with the most beautiful woman on the planet and he never
wanted her to wonder if he still loved her.?
This was why chose now to remind her in case he got into himself.

He let their lips and tongues dance for a few moments before
letting the kiss break as he looked into her eyes.? ¡°Yes, I love you!¡±? He said before finally pulling out of the
drive and headed to the place where ZsaZsa was most likely to be.
