Re: Port Vega: End of the Beginning.
开云体育(Gen)Gen was only dimly aware when the search-and-rescue team Chord's HQ sent out arrived.? Two of them, an older man named Simmons who was apparently a doctor and a middle-aged woman named Macamber with a security feel to her, stayed with her as the rest began searching the area. The doctor began checking her for injuries as the security woman asked about what had happened.? She told them everything she could about what she'd seen and heard, but it was like hearing someone else answering their questions.? Inside, she just felt numb.? She didn't resist as they bundled her into one of the helicopters that had come, and soon she was being flown back to the HQ.? Once there, they escorted her to a meeting room and told her to wait there.? She heard the door lock itself as soon as they left the room, but didn't care.? Where would she go, after all? (NPC Macamber) Macamber took up a position just outside the door to the meeting room, then called her team.? "Those of you not currently engaged in the search-and-rescue, fan out and find all members of that team Mister Chord had assembled, and then bring them here."? She then sent a text message to the individual team members:? "There's been an incident.? All of you please return to Chord HQ and report to Meeting Room C-15 without delay.? I will brief you when you all arrive." Tag - Whoever happens to be around? (Brandon, Mia, Cat, Kites, NPC) |
Re: Disaster Cruise: "The Weather Started Getting Rough, the Tiny Ship was Tossed…"
Whatdafuq!? Stan was a little caught offguard at the announcement, and more surprised at the sudden onset of bad weather.? It was like something out of a bad 80's flick…about being in the Bermuda Triangle.? Now his choice of vacation was becoming more than a little questionable by the moment. Oh for fuck's sake, dude, stop being a pessimist, he thought to himself.? There's a perfectly rational explanation…I just have yet to hear of one. His attention was momentarily drawn to the Japanese lady throwing a fit about the whole thing.? What was her problem?? Angry with the weather?? What a waste of time.? Then there was this one weirdo who slipped out of line and headed to the front of the ship.? Didn't seem too bright. Then he noticed something that changed his mind a bit:? Life preserver. Armed with this, he went to his cabin and opened up the spot used for emergencies.? One life preserver, ready to go.? He still believed that the captain and crew were worth the money, but it never hurt to be more safe than sorry— Then the ship creaked ominously… (Tag.? I think we have one more post to go!) |
Re: A Pirates Life (Khadashee and Draven)
开云体育?(Draven) Draven and Eryc spoke for a few moments before Draven heading below deck.? He approached the cell and saw what Eryc had seen.? He stood with his arms crossed, "Alright, boy, speak." Damon was lounging on the cot when Draven approached the cell.? He looked over at the man and smirked.? "Name's Damon and I want what is coming to me." Draven gave an exasperated sigh, "Your name does not mean a thing to me and why do you think you deserve anything?" Damon sat up and swung his legs off of the cot, "I am your half brother. A product of a night of wenching by our father.? I want a share of your treasures and to be made first mate." Draven laughed at this, "boy, you have to earn a place of that title and as for my treasures, well, that is just that. You aren't part of the crew so why do you think you are entitled anything. Just because you say you are my brother, doesn't mean you will just be handed things on a silver platter."? He could see the resemblance between the two, they both had their mother's soft features around the eyes and hair color.? The lad was almost as brawny as Draven.? "What's your age and how did you learn about who I am to you?" "I am 18, almost 19.? When my mother passed I found her diary, our father and your mother was mentioned as well as you.? She had followed our father across the seas and found that he had another family, an actual wife.? It has taken me a few years to finally track you down." Damon said as he crossed the cell to the door.? "You say I have to earn a place to earn the title of first mate.? Well, make me part of your crew, brother." Draven wasn't sure of this lad and wanted Khadashee's opinion on the matter.? "We will see." He turned and walked back to the ladder well, "I will have some food and water brought to you.? Make yourself comfortable, you will be here at least for the night."? With that he headed back to the main deck. Khadashee As Khadashee approached the outside dining table with Sa’id she turned to him. “I am nervous.” He frowned. “Why?” “Because I am a distraction to Draven.” “Are you sure it’s not the other way around.” Sa’id asked. “It could be that as well.” She said with a sigh.? “Are you going to...”? “No,” she quickly interrupted.? “Are you sure that is...” “Let it drop Sa’id,” she said He sighed “yes my Queen,” _._,_

Re: Blood Bonds: Getting to know Paris (Draven, Nicolete)
开云体育(Draven)He was glad she liked the drink, "it contains a few different ingredients and of course the necessary one.? It doesn't have a name. Glad you like it.? As for the way I handled things in the states versus here, true it is a big task."? He paused for a moment.? "I am more or less going to begin by investigating what the situation is like between our kind and the humans here in Europe.? I understand that many places here do not believe in having slave camps, but there are areas where it is prominent.? Also, if there are any human trafficking taking place between Europe and the Orient."? (Nicolete) Nicolete nodded as she placed her drink down. ?“Then if you will let me enlightened you. Europeans believe we are superior to the lesser races. Human are to be use for what they were created for...sustenances ...and pleasure—of any sort. ?The Weres on the other hands are dangerous to our way of life are to be used as subjugated muscle or destroyed if they refused to get in line. Slave camps are considered passé here. Instead ?the vampire houses here have made territories and The House Master, known as Dukes, runs those territories as they see fit answering only to The Prince. Those Princes are selected by the first family, which considered royalty and are usually selected because they have proven themselves loyal to the Alucard Bloodline ?Human trafficking is a way of life here. However, It is called being Chosen. Humans know that at anytime they can be “selected” to be one of The Chosen. Some look upon it as an honor, while others are terrified of it because it means the total annihilation of the Humans right to choose and govern their life as they see fit.? All humans here are eventually “selected” at some point in time in their lives because having the mark of the Chosen affords the human some freedoms and protections. Those Chosen who are given an semblance of “free will” have earned it because they have proven themselves trust worthy to their houses. all of the Freely Chosen are?allowed certain freedoms based on their loyalty to their house and?are given special task within society that they are expected to complete.? There is an underground here. A group of Revolutionaries who think that Humans and Weres deserve the same rights afford to vampires. That group consist of Humans and Were and some vampires sympathizes that agree.? This party you are attending is being hosted by One such sympathize and your presence here in Frances is a closely guarded secret. For if the Prince or the Duke of Paris knew you were here, considering your reputation it certainly would not go well.” Tag |
Re: Blood Feuds: Trying to Survive (Anais, Vincent)
开云体育(NPC)The girl gave a nod as she telepathically communicated with another girl outside of the room who came into the room.? The new girl was red haired and green eyed.? As the new one went into the bathroom, the blonde one adjusted the chains enough so that Anais could get off of the bed and be next to it.? The red head came out of the bathroom with a portable potty chair and brought it to where the other girl was standing.? Together they waited to see if Anais would get off of the bed to use the chair. Anais When Anais saw the portable potty chair, she sighed. ?They were really going to make her do this...do her business in front of them. Was there a window in the bathroom because she didn’t understand why they didn’t just let her go in there. She was a pregnant woman after all how much damage could she do to either of them? “Very well,” she said and slid off the bed. She was still dizzy so her footing wasn’t as great she realized as she sat up. Moving slowly, she slid onto the potty chair. Her deep expressive blue eyes Watching the girls the whole time.? She took the tissue and wiped herself the best she could with her arms tie behind her. Then she stood and sat back in the edge of the bed. “Thank you. Can I have something to clean my hands please.” Tag |
Re: Port Vega: End of the Beginning. (Kites, Gen, Mia, Kat, Brandon, open)
(Chord, Harrison) Harrison saw the look on Chord’s face when Kites said what he said about standing behind his decision to deny Gen proper medical attention. She knew the young man had no idea what that kind of admission had just done to his relationship with Chord.?She was just about to change topics when Chord said. “Let me understand what you just said. you made a decision to deny proper medical attention to one of your teammates who was down and could have died because your teammate was being too stubborn to accept help and rather than help your teammate, someone you say you care about, see reason. Or even taking control of the situation and do the right thing by get that teammate help despite their reckless stubbornness, you chose to preserve your good standing in that relationship, and make a decision that could have gotten that teammate, someone you say you care about, killed. And in the light of a new day, after having time for contemplation you are now going to stand before me and tell me you stand by that decision. And now then you ask me what you can do to help?”?Chord stepped into Kites personal space then. “You can do nothing Kites, that’s what you can do.” Chord said looking the young man in the eyes. “Before you left here you and I talked and I asked you if you had the ability to do the right thing despite your feelings for Gen. you assured me you could. However in your first test, you failed. you put your feelings for Gen and keeping yourself in her good graces before making sure she lived. That shows piss poor judgment on your part Kites. The Kind of pissed poor judgment that gets people killed unnecessarily. The fact that you stand behind that decision shows? The kind of piss poor judgement I knew you had in relation to Gen, but I really hope that after what happened yesterday on the training field, and after our talk that you would rise to the occasion. It’s a shame you were not able to do that. So now when you stand before me and ask me what you can do to help, my words to you are to stand down and do nothing because I simply do not trust you to use sound judgment and to do the right thing, Kites. Couple that with the fact that you’ve had some time to think about it and even though you knew it was wrong and you knew you put her at risk, you’re still standing behind that decision shows me that yesterday was more that just poor judgment, it’s flawed thinking. It shows me that when faced with a decision between reason and emotion, even in life or death situations, you will choose emotion every time. And that means I just can’t trust you. And?if I can’t trust you, you can’t help me. “I have to say after our talk I was rooting for you, Kites. I gave you the benefit of the doubt because I?believed in you. I trusted you, Kites. ?I’m very disappointed.” Chord sighed and turned from the young man. “I have work to do. You are dismissed.” (Kites) Kites was firm in his belief that what he did was right, at least at the time, but when Chord rounded on him like that, lambasting him for his mistake, the winged youth paled, startled, pupils shrinking to mere slits as he froze in place.? It didn't dawn on him what a huge mistake that could've been, that Gen's life was basically in his hands and if he had chosen wrong...if Gen didn't have her regenerative abilities, she would dead with her blood on Kites' hands.? The reality of it all was chilling to say the least and he felt his body as cold as ice listening to Chord.? The man right on all accounts but Kites felt his own fire rising within.? Was he not allowed to say anything in his own defense? "I meant every word I said when you and I had that conversation, that I wanted to do what I could for the facility and that it was my choice to stay here," he said, looking back at Chord with resolve in his eyes.? Internally, he was afraid, shaking, but regardless of how much he agreed with Chord on his own mistakes, he felt that there are some things that maybe he could tell him that Kites did not agree on.? "With all due respect, sir, doing the right thing is not always the correct thing.? Yes, I fully acknowledge and take responsibility for something that could've resulted in death, but it didn't.? Yes, I was self-centric.? I am in love with Gen, I can't help it.? She makes me want to do better, and I know I can, but nobody becomes perfect overnight."? Kites sighed, balling his hands into fists as he pursed his mouth, biting his lower lip but when he looked back, his eyes showed a flurry of emotions, his normally bright eyes now dark and full of storms. "What you endeavor to do with the city, to create a team of super heroes, it is amazing. It is admirable and we were all hoping to making something of ourselves.? But, sometimes, sir, I feel like your expectations are unrealistic, unreachable," Kites swallowed, feeling like his throat was dry and constricted.? He has never confronted an adult like this, least of all somehow who has been around the sun more than he has, and held a different kind of wisdom that his immature mind was not privy to.? But he also took issue with what was expected out of every single one of them.? "You...you collected a bunch of misfits who would've otherwise never met.? People whose lives did not include protecting the city but how answered the call to do so.? Who never did something this, would not have ever done something like this had you not recruited us, and yet, you expected that we would immediately know what to do?? How to act?? Teenagers who are hormonal and whose minds are not yet at the level of maturity that you expect us to have?? You're right, sir.? There is nothing I can do that you expect of me." Why do they never learn, Chords thought why do they never just take the lesson and absorb the lesson. Why must they always speak and make it worst. So much worse. With that Chord eyes narrowed. “For the record, what I did was assemble an impressive group of individuals with immense potential. I am aware of all of their short comings. However, upon our first meeting each of those individuals made commitment to be willing to learn...to be open to bring coached...to have the desire to grow and yet it seems that you would all rather make excuse for your short coming that take ownerships of your mistakes. ?That is such a shame, Kites. Because while it is my desire to see you excel to the heights of your greatness and become more than you ever dreamed...Because I See that for you...want that for you...I can not want it for you more than you do. That would just be pointless and frustrating...for the both of us. And since it seems that you are content to be just an hormonal misfit of a teenage seeking the sexual love and attention you never had rather that true mentorship and guidance, I am beginning to learn it is cruel of me to continue to existing attempt to give you more...want to give you more when you seem to fight me at every turn to continue to exist in your world. I am stubborn Kites...but I’m not insane. I can not continue to hit my head upon this brick wall. It hurts too much when I fail. I guess, I too am Human.” He said quietly then he went back to looking at what he was before. If Kite open his mouth to respond, Harrison shook her head no. Chord had just shared a true piece of himself with the young man and she hoped he simply absorbed the exchange. ? Thankfully,?Kites turned on his heels and headed towards the door, pressing the panel on the wall as the door opened.? Right as he was about to leave, he stopped, hesitating and looked back at Chord and Harrison with sadness and self-shame in his eyes.? "I sincerely apologize for disappointing you, sir, and Ms. Harrison as well.? You're right.? Maybe I'm too inflexible to fit the mold that you made with your hands.? Please let me know whether you want me to leave.? I will be in my room." With that, Kites left, hearing the door close with a woosh behind him and bid goodbye to the receptionist as he went to the elevators and went back down to the living quarters.? It would be a shame if he had to leave this place.? As he slowly walked towards his room, his hand slid over the banisters, looking past the barrier to the living one floor below.? Gen and he and Kat somersaulted through the air here, trying to be the first to get the best room to themselves.? This is where Gen first kissed him, first as a girl, then as a boy, completely shocking the hell out of him.? He chuckled at the notion, being a Christian himself.? His lips still tingled at the memory.? Once he stepped inside and the door closed, he let himself breakdown, falling wings first onto the bed, letting his legs dangle over the edge. Kites's heart was beating fast, faster than usual, feeling like he's done yet one more unforgivable thing.? Maybe this is the final thing that would get him thrown out, maybe not.? But if it did, he knew that he could go to Gen, provided that she hasn't changed her mind on him yet.? Placing one arm over his eyes, he just laid there, thinking, listening to the hum of the facility. (Ireland, Chord, Harrison) Ireland woke up dressed and ran straight to Chord’s office. She was told he and Harrison were in a meeting and she had to wait. After about twenty minutes they emerged from their office with Kites in tow. She knew that there was no love lost between them so she nodded her hellos as she walked over.? “No matter how tempted you are to go look into this please do not.” Harrison said. “We have a team investigating so we need this Lightening Rod to continue on as if he got away with it.” “Have you spoke to Gen?” Ireland asked. “Is she okay?”she asked clearly concerned. “I tried yesterday, when I learned she was injured she didn’t want my help. She made Kites send me away.” “What? But why?” Ireland said looking at Kites. “Because sometimes People cut off their nose to spite their face,” Chord said. His jaw set firm. “I left supplies. I hoped she used them.” Harrison said “We have another meeting to attend but we will be back in about an hour. Will you please round up the team and let them know we want to meet with them then.” Chord said to Kites. And then sent him on his way, moving towards the helipad on the roof. “There is still a team?” Ireland asked. Following the pair. Harrison nodded. “Kat, Mia and Kites have decided to stay. “ “I have yet to talk to you and Brandon.” Chord said. “Daddio...I’m...” Ireland said frowning. “Ireland. We will talk about this later. Harrison and I are going to go talk to Gen. Make sure she is okay and...” “I’m coming with you.” Ireland said “Do you really think that’s wise, Ireland considering your temper.” Harrison asked “I promise to behave,” she said as they reached the roof and she climbed inside the helicopter. Chord shook his head and smirked but waited for Harrison to get in before he got in as well. Soon the helicopter was up in the sky moving toward the lighthouse. Ireland remembered the other day when she met Gen as Martin, he had given her his phone number so she pulled out her phone and called it. (Gen) Gen was doing stretching exercises when she heard a phone ringing.? She stopped, looking around in confusion.? There was a phone in the lighthouse, but it'd been disconnected long before she'd moved into the place.? But then she remembered the cell-phone she'd gotten but hardly ever used.? It was still in the backpack she'd had when she first started squatting in the place. Pulling it out, she stared at the number calling her. It took her a moment to realize that she'd only ever given her number to one person.? The androgyne hesitated as the phone kept ringing.? They hadn't parted on the best of terms and her feelings were still a little hurt.? But maybe Ireland had heard about the attack from Kites, and maybe she was calling to see if Gen was alright.?? Maybe.? She flipped the phone open and touched the answer button. "Hello?" she ventured.? The sound of a helicopter in the distance was coming in through the window, distracting her.? Moving to the window, she pressed the phone closer to her ear. "Ireland." (Ireland, Chord, Harrison) “I can not believe you made Harrison leave when she was trying to help you. I get being stubborn but you could have died. Would it have been worth leaving Kites with the guilt of watching you die just to prove a point.” The other woman said through the phone. “I mean honestly.” (Gen) The unexpected words stung the androgyne.? "Would it have mattered to you if I had died?? Would it?" she shot back.? She was having to shout as the noise from the helicopter was growing louder.?? "I'm having trouble hearing you," Gen said loudly, staring out the window at the offending source of the noise and holding her free hand over her other ear. "There's a helicopter passing over the harbor."? She stared at the corporate logo on the craft as it drew closer, recognizing it at once.? Realization clicked in her head when she noticed that the background sound coming out of the phone matched what was coming in through the window.? "Ireland," she asked, her face knotting in suspicion, "where are you, exactly?" (Ireland, Chord, Harrison) “Really? Really! Don’t you even try to go there. You left us Gen. you are the one who told Harrison to leave. If it didn’t matter she wouldn’t have come. If you didn’t matter we wouldn’t be on our way to you now.” Chord reached out his hand then and Ireland handed him the phone. “Gen. ?We will be landing in about ten minutes. Would you like to talk on the roof or would you like to invite us in?” (Gen) "On your way..." Gen said, staring at the approaching helicopter with realization.? "You're in the helicopter."? The androgyne's emotions were in turmoil.? Ireland's words stung.? But before she could react, Chord's voice came over the phone, prompting her for an answer. "It's a lighthouse," she said, sighing.? "You'll have to land on the island.? When you get here, you can come in.? It's not like I can stop you." She eyed the helicopter with a mix of frustration and resignation.? It was close enough now that she could make out the outlines of the three occupants.? "It's not like I can do much of anything at all, is it?? Anything right, anyways." (Ireland, Chord, Harrison) Chord tried his best not to say. Ireland actually did. “Is she serious right now with this?” Ireland said hurt in her tone. “She pushed us away...me away and somehow she’s the victim?” “Ireland,” Harrison reprimanded.? “Please forgive Ireland. She doesn’t do well when she feels like people she cares just abandons her.” Ireland frowned at Chord.? “Gen, We are not trying to encroach on your personal space. We just want to make sure you are alright. That you have the proper and any necessary medical equipment that you need and offer any help you will let us provide to assist with the capture of your assailant.” (Gen) "I don't need help," Gen said, stubbornly defensive.? "I was designed to survive on other planets.? I can handle some two-bit--" Just as Gen was finished?speaking, a loud pop could be heard in the background. The helicopter dipped and dropped almost like it was fighting to stay up. It managed to stay up only for a few seconds before it dipped and spun. ? “Chord...” the sound of Ireland’s scared voice could be heard through the phone. Chaos seemed to ensue from the inside of the chopper. The helicopter nosed dived. Gen heard something pop and saw the helicopter start to waver unsteadily.? "What was that?? What's happening?" The chopper's instability only got worse and the androgyne became alarmed at the screams she was hearing.? "Ireland?? What's wrong?" she yelled into the phone, a feeling of panic coming over her as she watched the craft suddenly lurch downwards.? "Ireland?? Ire--" Time slowed strangely.? It was like minutes were passing between each beat of her heart.? She could see the helicopter blades moving in slow swirls as the craft drifted down towards the water.? A bright flash seemed to spark inside the chopper, then expand, until it was consuming the interior. Things began to fall apart. The blades hit the water, breaking into flying shards. Then just as the cabin hit the surface, another explosion bloomed, again from the inside, this time ripping what remained of the craft into an expanding storm of fire and shredded metal, flying in all directions until eventually falling back to the water's surface, some pieces floating, others disappearing into the depths. Wreckage was everywhere. Debris littered the surface of the water and there was not trace of the four people who had been inside. "No."? Gen was still holding the phone, but there was nothing but silence.? Out the window there was smoke clouding up over a sea of smoldering debris.? "No, no, no, no..."?? The androgyne froze between an impulse to shift and dive into the water and the knowledge that she was still weak.? And the thought that there was something that needed to be done first.? She quickly dialed a number she remembered, desperately willing the other end to pick up.? Finally it did. "Chord Enterprises," a voice said, cordial and businesslike. "How may I direct your--" "No time," Gen said, keeping her voice as calm as she could manage.? "Listen.? Mister Chord, Harrison, and Ireland were in a helicopter, flying out to the old lighthouse in the harbor.? Something happened and it blew up.? Send anyone and anything you can.? I... I'm gonna look for survivors."? Her voice was tight and she was fighting back tears.? "I... don't think there are any.? But I've gotta look." "Who is this?" the voice demanded, no longer cordial.? "What are you--" "Just get here." Gen said.? "I'll be outside.? I..." She suddenly felt weary, so incredibly weary. "I'm nobody.? Nobody at all," she said finally.? "Just get here, okay?" Flipping the phone off, she went to the window, perched on the outside rail just long enough for her wings to emerge, then launched herself into the air.? It only took her a minute to fly over the floating debris field.? There was no sign of life.? Taking a deep breathe, she willed her wings back and caused her gills and webbing to emerge as she dove beneath the water's surface.? The effort was an incredible drain, but she began searching.? The water was comparatively shallow here, allowing some light to penetrate.? It was enough for her to see by.? Enough for her to see too much. It didn't take long to determine that there were no survivors.? There was too much... evidence... to allow for any other conclusion.? But Gen lingered, turning her attention to the pieces of wreckage, examining what she found, committing what she saw to memory.? And everything she tasted as her gills filtered the water in the area, picking up traces of things that shouldn't be there.? There were questions that would have to be answered. Later. Finally she had nothing left. With the last of her energy, she swam to the lighthouse, crawled up on shore, then shifted back to her default mode, neither male nor female.? She leaned back against a large rock, hugged her knees to her chest, and began to weep.? "Ireland," she whispered to no one, furiously wiping tears from her eyes, "It hurts, Ireland.? It hurts so much.? I'm sorry."? Dropping her head to her knees, she fell silent and waited.? Thinking about everything that had happened.? And everything that she'd seen and found.? ? There was much to think about. (Mia) Mia had gotten up early, went through her morning work out all the while wondering what the day was going to bring.? She had enjoyed her time with Ireland and her brother at the board walk, but was shocked to hear about Gen being attacked.? When they had arrived back at the facility, there was so much chaos going on that she didn't know what to do or even if she could help.? She had sat in the living area until almost 1 am, waiting for someone to let her know what to do.? She figured staying out of the way was the best course of action she could take. Finally, at 1 am, needing to sleep was getting to her and she headed to bed.? Now, it was morning and it seemed like everything had calmed down.? She was in the kitchen eating, now, as she wondered where everyone was.? It was very quiet and she was beginning to wonder if she was the only left in the facility. Tag: Open, whose next. |
Re: Port Vega: Meet & Greet Dinner (Posting Order: Aurora, Mara, Devi, Lightening Rod, Photon, Random NPCs)
Trimming the post.? Tag to Lightening Rod. (Lightning Rod) "I'm..." Roddy hesitated a bit. 'Roddy' just didn't sound impressive. And he was here to impress.? "...Lightning Rod," he finished, imagining a suitable musical theme in his head, something ominous with minor chords. But debonair.? Yeah, definitely debonair.? ? At that point the door opened to reveal a stranger in sunglasses, a man whom Devi seemed to know.? Apparently, he worked for Aurora and was here to open the doors and stuff.? He noticed that Devi was holding out her arm expectantly.? "Right. Don't want to keep the boss lady waiting," he said, taking her offered arm on his and stepping inside.? The interior that he could see was even more grand than the exterior had been.? He gestured grandly to the sunglasses guy.? "Lead on, Jeeves."?? (Raine) Raine was only slightly disappointed by the request, he felt like a fool a bit.? He really had dressed for her, he was actually hoping for…never mind.? ?By the tone of her voice, she knew he had made himself more than presentable for her, that alone made him appreciate it.? He felt her fingers moving across his chest, the soft voice from her as she made her desires known.? He wished he wasn’t so smitten by her he might have resisted.? But she was more of the brains of the outfit.? He wasn’t stupid or dumb his cunning existed in the use of his powers, he was creative deadly and had learned their use more supremely being with her, not sure whether it was to impress her or teach her that he could be her equal both in and out of the field.? He leaned down and kissed her cheek lightly, very much wishing it was her lips he was tasting.? He wasn’t angry he knew they were leaders together and if this was to be her show of solidarity then so be it.? ?“As you wish my sweet.”? He moved away from her to go change, one day he wouldn’t be kissing her cheek solely and she would also be kissing back.? His hand swatted her rear as he moved away from her, it was something that did and he had not only gotten used to doing it but he enjoyed anytime he could put his hands on her body.? He could be playful at times and not all serious but she only saw that side, outside of his family.? Tonight his desire needed a bodyguard, for her he would do that without question. They had been together for a bit and he was hoping one day to get beyond their simple flirting.? To the point to where he would be hopefully peeling her out of that dress that made her look so divine this evening.? He found himself thinking of his family, each one of them. Most of all the fact that he had spent the day with his beloved sister.? He knew full well why Brandon had been in love with her.? He too might have fallen under her spell, but those two were thick as thieves and he was simply her protector.? The strange thing was it didn’t matter as much to him.? He wanted a sister more than a lover with her, he knew where she was most of the time and he made sure no one hurt her.? Sure, some guys got the hint the hard way and broke up with her, but he made sure none put a hand on his baby girl…period.? He knew she was intimate with others it was her choice but he didn’t do hurting her or disrespecting her at all.? She was his sister and he didn’t allow that! He quickly undressed and put on his bracers a gift from his father.? The man was a genius costume maker and the items easily went along with his powers.? He undressed hanging up the suit, maybe he would just after ask her out in order to wear it…it wouldn’t be a surprise though since she had seen him in it. He pulled on his shirt and shorts, pants, and boots.? Even though the bracers generated the costume it needed some material to start with generally, that and if something went wrong he didn’t want to be naked.? Not that they ever did with dad’s things but he wasn’t wanting to be identified and link things back to the family. When the costume was activated, he was in a cowl mask only allowing his mouth to be free, his eyes were visible but they had only become white in the outfit with no pupils which meant he could be any black man beneath the outfit that still revealed his muscular form. (Aurora) Aurora gave Raine a giggle as he gave her rump a swat, “but not in front of the dinner guests.” She reminded him as they went their separate ways for now.? She had picked up on the movement from Mara out of the corner of her eye.? She had gotten pretty good at knowing when her spy was around, with a smile she quietly said, “glad you are here my friend.” She took her place at the head of the table and waited for the others to arrive.? Liza, Jordie’s lady gave Aurora a smile as she took her place at the table.? “How many are you expecting?” She asked her boss.? “Two for sure, maybe a third.? We will see.” (Jordie) “Name’s Jordie.? I am not the butler or Jeeves, Roddy.” Jordie said with a smirk knowing that would get the lad’s attention.? “Respect is a two-way street around her, Lightening Rod, remember that.” He led them to the dining room and once there took his seat next to Liza.? “You are there,” he pointed to a seat across from his, “Devi. And you are there,” He pointed to a seat a few chairs farther down the table, “Lightening Rod.? This is Liza and you all have met, Aurora.” He said indicating their boss sitting at the head of the table. (Mara) The snake woman watched as the new recruits filed into the dining room, examining them through the infrared, her tongue flicking in and out as she tasted the air.? When Aurora came in, she looked to the darkened corner where Mara was settled, watching, seeing her smile light up and then ever so slightly, nodding her head in response.? They had a sort of mental link that allowed them to sense each other's presences, but Mara didn't have the type of power where she could use it as a means of communication.? Once everyone settled in and she had a chance to measure everybody's body heat, Mara melded out of the shadows and stepped into the light, adjusting the straps of her v-necked dress, going to take her place beside Aurora, crossing her legs as she leaned back, one hand going up to move a stray clump of hair behind her ears. "Ah, at least, we get to eat.? Is this everyone, or are we waiting for any other late arrivals?"? She looked everyone over with her normal eyesight now, taking mental notes of they sat and moved, what caught their attention.? It was not just force of habit, but also a survival technique.? One never knew when the information that she ingested was going to come in handy. (Devi) Devi gave Lightning Rod a smile when he introduced himself. Once he took her arm she let him guide her in. As they made their way to the dining room Devi looked around to familiarize her self to her surroundings. Her attention turned back to Jordie when he spoke and pointed to where both Lightning Rod and her self. She gave him a nod and moved to sit in the chair. She had seen Aurora at the head of the table as she sat down. About to ask a question she stopped as she seen a snake looking woman step from the shadows and make her way to sit next to Aurora. When the snake woman spoke Devi smiled. She looked to Aurora, "Thank you for the invitation. It is very beautiful place." Tag: Lightening Rod, Raine, Aurora/NPCs, Mara, Devi |
Re: Blood Bonds: Getting to know Paris (Draven, Nicolette)
OOC: Adjusted post (Nicolette) As she walked with Draven, Nicolette noticed his stature. How he moved, talked, carried himself. She had heard much about him. He was after all a living legend. He was also quite handsome. “That is a very lofty task, my lord. Lofty indeed. Unlike the states, where if you can get you President and Congress to agree, then you can make it so. I am sure you are aware that Europe is a hodgepodge of independent and sovereign nations. All with their own rules, regulations and cultures. To accomplish that kind of change will take changing hearts and minds. There are many here who feel like you have disrupted the natural order of life and do not wish to have your backwards thinking do the same here.” Nicolette took the drink from the bartender and moaned softly at the taste of the drink. “Umm, very nice. what is this?” (Draven) He was glad she liked the drink, "it contains a few different ingredients and of course the necessary one.? It doesn't have a name. Glad you like it.? As for the way I handled things in the states versus here, true it is a big task."? He paused for a moment.? "I am more or less going to begin by investigating what the situation is like between our kind and the humans here in Europe.? I understand that many places here do not believe in having slave camps, but there are areas where it is prominent.? Also, if there are any human trafficking taking place between Europe and the Orient."? Tag: Nicolette (How are you wanting to spell her name?) |
Re: Blood Feuds: Trying to Survive (Anais, Vincent)
(Anais) Anais looked at the girl and shock her head. “Thank you but, I’m sorry. I can not go that way. I never could. Please I just want to use the toilet. Would you ask you employer if I can? He can even send people in the bathroom with me. Please?” (NPC) The girl gave a nod as she telepathically communicated with another girl outside of the room who came into the room.? The new girl was red haired and green eyed.? As the new one went into the bathroom, the blonde one adjusted the chains enough so that Anais could get off of the bed and be next to it.? The red head came out of the bathroom with a portable potty chair and brought it to where the other girl was standing.? Together they waited to see if Anais would get off of the bed to use the chair. Re: The Door Between Two Worlds [Roue and Rabbit] (closed)
开云体育[Roue] The elf sighed, thinking about this Hirono person.? The name would've almost felt alien to him had he not been to Rune-Midgard's Amatsu, the town where a lot monks had trained beside the moated castle.? The way Rabbit described this mysterious woman felt a little off, like there was a piece of darkness involved there, the word liking leaning more towards an obsession.? Collecting things...pictures...perhaps even people?? He was curious but at the same time not quite sure he wanted to satisfy that itch.? This place was definitely full of perpexling, mystifying things...like Palyndra.? Interestingly enough, he wanted to see her again.? What was it about her that drew him to her?? Was it an elven affinity to magic, was it because she looked as if she was made of stars?? The wizard looked away, eyes glazed over till the little vampire's voice broke his spaciness. "What's taking a photo?? I've never heard of that before," Roue asked, looking back at Rabbit, absentmindedly bringing the youth's hand back to his lips and kissing the top of his hand, then his wrist.? The elf still felt a bit out of it, whether it was the withdrawal of a euphoric high or something else, he didn't know.? The way the vampire laid beneath him, looking so innocent and vulnerable, awakened a different side of Roue, one that was more confident and definitely cockier, than the usual timid wizard who was always on the receiving end, never the giving.? Yet, there it was, just simmering under the surface and now it wanted to bubble out, frothing at the edges of his soul. "Mmm, you are sexy, I'll give you that," he murmured, dipping his head to nuzzle Rabbit's neck, gently taking the skin between his teeth and nibbling on it.? His usual stammer, the way Roue's youthful companion was so meek and demure made him want to devour the boy, to completely and totally dominate him.? He pressed his hips into Rabbit's thigh, letting his lover feel the rising desire in his loins.? "Why don't you tell me what kind of stuff you want to do exactly?" (Rabbit) "A photo?" Rabbit hesitated, wondering how to explain photography to someone apparently from a place where elves and magic existed but most technology did not.? "You could say it's a, uhm, d-different kind of magic.? It's like an instant painting.? Except s-smaller.? It captures whatever someone or somethin' l-looked like at that moment in time. I can sh-show you some, later if'n you like."?? The little vampire gasped at the elf's nuzzling and nibbling of his neck, and the feeling of his lover's hard bulge rubbing against his thigh stimulated his own desire even further. "I... I wanna make you, uhm, you know, f-feel good," Rabbit said softly, pressing his slender body up against Roue's.? "I wanna _hear_ you feelin' good.? And know that I'm the one makin' you feel that way.? I wanna be looking in your eyes while you f-fuck me, feel you hot and urgent inside me, takin' me and m-makin' me yours." He looked down, suddenly embarrassed.? "Am I b-bein' too much of a, uhm, you know, a bottom-boy?"?? Tag - Roue |
Re: Troy Rising: Meanwhile, in Troy…
The revelation of having air power was a bit of a surprise to Zafiri, but in hindsight, perhaps she should've considered it all along.? They did have those things called drones, after all.? They were currently being used to keep an eye on the perimeter where Troy's wheat fields ended and the forest began.? If they had those, what else did they have? "Well, it's hard to say, honestly," she replied, looking as if she was distracted in thought.? "I'm just beginning to learn your systems of measurement.? It is hard to translate links, chains and furlongs into measurements you understand, but I found your Metric system easiest to deal with—units of 10, so elementary…why didn't anyone think of that before? "So, if I'm doing my mathematics correctly, the Septimal Basilica, in the Holy City of Anthraine would be about…carry the two…mm-hmm…about 2,000 kilometers, give or take, well south of here, across the Mezzo Sea." “We have Troy Muni that was included in the happening,” Jan said, with a grimace. “A small airport off to the northwest.” She made a flying motion with her hand. “A plane that can fly like a bird but at much higher speeds. Imagine one of those dragons but moving at three to tens times faster. Not as dynamic but also capable of high altitudes, above the clouds.” She watched them looking for a glimmer of understanding. “That first day I drove north I noticed a fire around the landing strip but never heard about what happened. I’m sure there are some old Cessna's?that run on oil-based fuel. We should have some modern battery version aircraft. Again I don’t know what we still have. My best guess would be about twenty aircraft. Some may have been used in the past for pest control on the crops. If we could run a flex fuel craft it should be able to make the flight and have enough to return. We could drop a platoon right down on top of those creeps. It would be a suicide?mission. The havoc created might prevent a slaughter here.” Jan seemed to go into that trance like she had before. She canvassed the records available to determine what sort of aircraft were likely to be at the Muni now. She began to speak, her voice was somewhat robotic, “Lockheed Martin had a testing faculty many moons ago. A few corporate jets. Small aircraft mostly and some gliders.” Jan looked up, “Gliders would make it easy if we knew the exact destination, Longitude and latitude. A jet could easily make that distance and return. If we have any. Jumping out of a Gulfstream might be challenging. Imagine those retro fools seeing an aircraft on the deck at 800 kilometres?an hour! The craft would be Winchester but those fools would be shitting their pants! A nice follow up volley of mortar rounds and they might believe the aircraft did it. Boy, they’d be turning tail I betcha.” Jan stood and paced the room thinking. “I’m an expert at drone manipulation but I have to be in receiver range. Without satellites I’m severely hampered for range. I bet Julian has a drone corridor covered already looking for incursions just beyond our borders. Cessna’s converted into bombers would be devastating against large troop masses. Maybe more effective against likely following supply trains. Do these forces use supply trains? Units or wagons full of supplies to feed the troops? Easy to hit, slow moving targets. Without those supplies the largest armies, especially merc armies might be crippled. Trust me, no food makes for bad morale. An exploding ammo wagon would be a spectacular scene indeed. Of course if our enemies have flying dragons or whatever that can find and hit our small drones or larger craft the idea is crap.” Jan sat down gloomily. “The strike on their capital is our best chance at long term strategy. We might scare them off for a while but if they realize how small our ground forces are they will ignore the small air dominance we display and smash us anyway. Cut off the money and those mercs won’t have a reason to fight.” TAG

Port Vega: End of the Beginning.
开云体育? Chord, Harrison? Harrison saw the look on Chord’s face when Kites said what he said about standing behind his decision to deny Gen proper medical attention. You are dismissed.” [Kites] Kites was firm in his belief that what he did was right, at least at the time, but when Chord rounded on him like that, lambasting him for his mistake, the winged youth paled, startled, pupils shrinking to mere slits as he froze in place.? ???- Ireland, Chord, Harrison - “No matter how tempted you are to go look into this please do not.” Harrison said. "Ireland?" ?- Ireland, Chord, Harrison - “I can not believe you made Harrison leave when she was trying to help you. "Ireland," she asked, her face knotting in suspicion, "where are you, exactly?" ?- Ireland, Chord, Harrison - “Really? Anything right, anyways." ?- Ireland, Chord, Harrison - Chord tried his best not to say. |

He groaned as the blessed release of his own orgasm left him shuddering, hunching his hips as spurt after spurt of urgent semen erupted from his cock, filling his beloved's most intimate place.? He kissed her hungrily, devouring her mouth and lips until finally the force of his cumming dissipated into a few last ebbing pulses. He reveled in the quiet moment when their sexes were still joined, a sheen of sweat glistening all over their naked bodies as the warm tropical breeze moved gently over their skin. "You are mine, Evone'," he murmured, gazing deep into her eyes as he reached up to brush some strands of hair from her face.? "And I am yours.? And may the fates never see us parted again." ?- Evone' Evone’ hugged him tight. “Yes. I am. Now and for always.” She said kissing his lips. She felt so loved in this moment. Loved in a way she had never experience before today. He had made loved to her so completely. Touching her in every part of soul.? When he looked back, it was Scheherezade that was standing before him, not Arowyn. "Ah beg your pardon, Mistress Scheherezade," he said apologetically.? "Ah fear my mind went elsewhere for a moment.? These lands are steeped with a lot of... family history.? And not all of it is worth recalling."? He favored her with a wan smile and bowed his head slightly.? "Ah beg your forgiveness."?? ?- Scheherezade, others Scheherezade blinked also. She had to hold his shoulders to brace herself. The shock of what she experienced was jarring. “Yes of course,” she said a bit absentmindedly. “Of course,” she repeated moving to walk away from him, Putting some space between them. “I should get back.” She said walking away forgetting they had ridden horses to this spot. She needed to get back to the main castle. She needed to some air. She needed to catch her breath. _._,_

Re: Raconteur City: The Summoning (Pyp, Kutsuki)
开云体育[Kutsuki] Kutsuki rubbed his forehead in frustration as he listened to the egotistical disembodied voice of the imp.? Running his hands through his hair, pointing at Pyp who he was 100% sure was watching him, then back down at the floor. "I said come out, asshole.? Since you want me to be precise...? Get your demonic behind off my roof and come down to my room this instant," the white haired boy growled, heavily sighing.? He should've known better than this and yet he kept making the mistake over and over that the demon would be anything but loyal.? Of course he was going to catch him on every technically.? He was a fucking hellion.? This shit was built into whatever constituted as their blood, nay, the very fiber of their cursed being. "Don't play coy with me, hellion.? You know exactly why I'm royally pissed right now," he snarled, gritting his teeth.? He was still sweaty from the dream, skin feeling like it was on pins and needles just thinking back to what he dream.? Kutsuki knew it was all Pyp.? Demon be damned if he was going to try and act all innocent.? That word wasn't even part of a demon's vocabulary.? "Explain why you felt the need to make me dream that bullshit.? You thought I was going to jack off at the sight of myself?" (Pyp) Pyp appeared in Kutsuki's room with a blink of an eye.? No fanfare, no explosive puff, no smell of brimstone.? One moment he wasn't there, and the next moment he was, standing before his outraged summoner, the very picture of deferential innocence.?? "Me, Eraisama?" the demon inquired politely, gesturing at himself.? "I didn't 'make' you dream anything.? I merely gave you an opportunity. To explore your desires in the safety of a dream."? His eyes gleamed impishly, clearly enjoying himself.? "Contrary to what most people think, we can't make mortals desire anything.? We can _tempt_ mortals. Present them with all manner of things that they might want, envy or lust after.? But we cannot create that need or desire in them.? That has to be there to begin with." The fresh-faced devil-boy flopped backwards, a plush bean-bag chair appearing beneath him just before he would've hit the floor.? Reaching into mid-air, he summoned a cup and saucer of bone china, emitting the smell of rich dark chocolate.? He took a sip, then nodded approvingly before looking back to Kutsuki.? "Whatever you may have seen or experienced in your dream, Eraisama," Pyp said sweetly, "I had nothing to do with it.? That came from _you_." "Now before you blow a gasket and do something foolish," he went on, stirring his hot chocolate with a fingernail, "you might want to consider that all you've used me for so far is to fetch you a snack drink, keep your parents off your back, and find a few spying devices.? Personally, I think this is a serious underutilization of my potential."? He grinned impishly, this time letting his fangs show a bit.? "I can do a _lot_ more, if you'll but command me." Re: Disaster Cruise: "The Weather Started Getting Rough, the Tiny Ship was Tossed…"
The sun began to set over a picture perfect day, and
that’s when it started going wrong.? It was as if the moment,
like that perfect painting, was suddenly marred by a splash of
technicolor…or black.? It was jarring, alien…it shouldn’t have
happened, but there it was. It started off as a sailor walked briskly up to the captain’s chair at dinner.? He looked a little agitated—that in itself a little out of place, as the crew had been nothing but relaxed and polite so far—as he bent down and whispered into the captain’s ear.? Then the captain raised his eyebrows.? Now he was agitated. “Ladies and gentlemen, it appears duty calls,” he said in a practiced calm. ?“Please enjoy the rest of your evening without me.” And like that, he was away, making considerable haste toward the bridge of the ship. Minutes later was when people started becoming aware in a physical sense something was off.? The smooth sailing was interrupted as the seas suddenly became rough.? Everyone noticed as the ship started to roll to and fro.? That was the first sign of trouble. The next sign was when the sky started to suddenly darken, as from the Northeast, dark ominous clouds began to billow inward, and the wind began to pick up. A moment later, a sailor came into the dining room. ?“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m afraid we’ll have to call this evening to a close.? An unpredicted squall is coming into the area, and for your own safety we need you to get to your cabins and stay there until we pass through this safely.? We apologize for the inconvenience.” As if to add emphasis to his words, there was a flash of lightning, followed a second later by an ominous crack of thunder.? This storm was close! What was this part of the ocean known for?? Oh yes…the Bermuda Triangle.
[Maya] Maya was up on the topmost deck, soaking up the last rays of the setting sun, dressed in a crimson red bikini, a gold sash tied around her waist.? Stretched out in one of the lounge chairs, arms by her head, one kneed drawn, as if she was posing for a picture, but in truth, she had drifted off, sunglasses on her face, lulled into a nap by the gentle blowing of the sea wind.? She was flanked by two of her guards who stood a couple of feet away, giving her enough space yet being close enough should anyone dare to accost her. However, she was suddenly shaken awake, grumbling a few choice curses in Japanese as she tried to blink the sleep away. "<That was a bit rude, Saotome.? I hope you have a good reason for putting your hands on me,>" Maya spat out, heavily sighing as she lifted up, legs sliding off the chair as feet slipped into a pair of Gucci Princetown slippers, the leather dyed as red as her bikini. "<My apologies, Mayasama, but there is a storm picking up.? We have been advised to head below decks,>" the woman answered, feeling a bit distressed at the oncoming, thundering clouds.? Maya stood up, moving her sunglasses to the top of her head as she walked to the edge of the deck, one hand going to grip the railing as she looked out into the sea.? The wind quickly picked up, the waves now starting to crash against the ship's bow, making it roughly rock side to side. "<My goodness, the forecast called for clear skies.? Where did that come from?>" Mara asked, looking back to Saotome who called the two guards up to her mistress.? Her eyes went down, noticing someone who had come up onto the lower deck, themselves peering out into the ocean at the approaching storm front. "<Mayasama, please.? It's getting very dangerous.? We should return to the cabin.? That is the safest place right now,>" Saotome urged as the bodyguards pulled Maya away from the edge, dragging her away as the heiress stubbornly pulled back and freed her arms from their grasps, huffing at the rudeness that was inflicted upon her person.? Just as she did so, the ship rocked and the force with which she pulled back caused her to lose her balance and she fell to the floor, wincing in pain as her palms hit the cold floor. "<Unbelievable...? First, you rudely shake me awake, and now you dare to put your hands on me again!? Don't touch me, you bitch, and don't either of you come near me either!>" she snarled, pushing Saotome away as she stood up, but another rocking of the boat caused her to gasp and almost slip, only being caught by one of her guards.? Saotome watched as Maya fought against their grip, but she was no match for the two who led the stubborn princess back inside the ship. Saotome sighed, dusting herself off.? For the intelligence in the world, sometimes Maya's stubborness won out and in that moment, she acted like a petulant brat who was denied a lollipop.? But it was nothing that she wasn't used to, having been Maya's charge for nearly ten years now.? Though she was unsteady on her own feet, she peered over the railing at the brave soul who was now scrambling to hold onto something, but she simply turned her back and walked away.? The only person's safety that she was concerned with was Maya's.? Everyone else was expendable. [Tag] |
Re: Port Vega: Meet & Greet Dinner (Posting Order: Aurora, Mara, Devi, Lightening Rod, Photon, Random NPCs)
(Devi)
[Mara] The snake woman watched as the new recruits filed into the dining room, examining them through the infrared, her tongue flicking in and out as she tasted the air.?

Re: Raconteur City: Investigating Leads (Scarlett, open)
Luke studied the old camera’s screen.? He zoomed the lens and more blurry images appeared in the window.? “Hard to tell. At least two that I know of up there. It’s dark in there or I wouldn’t see anything but a white glare.” He hunted the other windows but they were either shaded or there was no activity to see. “That’s all I got.” He noticed something on the ground and it gave him some assurance.? A diving board.? That meant there was a swimming pool filled with lovely water. He grinned in the darkness. Scarlett MacAleister Scarlett gave Luke a nod. "Then see what you can see with your camera and get pictures of anything interesting," she told him. "I'm going to take a little stroll." The redhead turned toward the fence, crouched and leaped more than 10 feet into the air, vaulting over the fence and landing on the other side with barely a sound. She looked back at Luke and gave him a wink before she turned and disappeared almost magically into the darkness. The vampire slipped silently through the frees, moving with unnatural speed and nimbleness through the trees and brush surrounding the property. Reaching the edge of the trees, she looked across the open yard and spotted several cameras monitoring the property. Like a black, shadowy blur, Scarlett darted across the yard, arriving at the outside wall of the house, where she pressed her back flat against the brick and then she moved along quietly until she reached a window. With her enhanced hearing, she focused to see if she could hear anything going on inside the house.? Tag: Scarlett, Luke, Cartel _._,_._,_ |
