As she walked with Draven, Nicolette noticed his stature. How he moved, talked, carried himself. She had heard much about him. He was after all a living legend. He was also quite handsome.
¡°That is a very lofty task, my lord. Lofty indeed. Unlike the states, where if you can get you President and Congress to agree, then you can make it so. I am sure you are aware that Europe is a hodgepodge of independent and sovereign nations. All with their own rules, regulations and cultures. To accomplish that kind of change will take changing hearts and minds. There are many here who feel like you have disrupted the natural order of life and do not wish to have your backwards thinking do the same here.¡±
Nicolette took the drink from the bartender and moaned softly at the taste of the drink. ¡°Umm, very nice. what is this?¡±
(Draven) He was glad she liked the drink, "it contains a few different ingredients and of course the necessary one.? It doesn't have a name. Glad you like it.? As for the way I handled things in the states versus here, true it is a big task."? He paused for a moment.? "I am more or less going to begin by investigating what the situation is like between our kind and the humans here in Europe.? I understand that many places here do not believe in having slave camps, but there are areas where it is prominent.? Also, if there are any human trafficking taking place between Europe and the Orient."?
