With a shrug of her own Carmen walked with Rhemy to the outside. As the sun had set the evening had cooled off and there was a pleasant breeze blowing off of the water.?

"I was in need of a long overdue vacation and luckily my job is transportable, as long as there is the internet." She said with a smile. "How about you?" She gave a wave to the waiter who then brought out a couple of bottles of her family's wine.

"A wedding," Rhemy said, pointing over the dance floor a group of women gathered hooting and hollering as they danced. "You see the one with the kiss me I'm the bride banner on. I guess she belongs to me. The wedding is Sunday and I am sure not really even certain why I came." Rhemy said?
The waiter arrived showing Carmen the year and vintage waiting for her to approve and give him permission to pour.?

"I bring you greetings from Bastion Wu, the Prince of Lousianna. He wanted to let you know that he was most happy to hear that you had awakened and he looks forward to one day soon you joining him in New Orleans. I am to give you this." he said pulling out a long sword box. "This is the sword from the House of Phillips. It is meant to be a token of friendship and camaraderie. Do you have anything you would like me to tell him upon my return? I was given orders to relay any message you require."
(Hollywood) Hollywood listened to Ariein and looked at the box, not really seeing it, but waved Isibel forward to take it. Once the box was received, Hollywood spoke to Ariein, "I had not forgotten. My we speak privately, Ariein?"

I must tell you, I am so famished and he has painted such a delectable picture of I do not care what I eat. I just know it must be prepared by you. Oh and I do not eat pork." she said as she walked with the woman. "Is there anything you would recommend after eating ship's fair for the past three months"
(Draven/Mickey) "Mickey please. Very well, I know just what to prepare. Now, you two will sit on the patio where the breeze will bring some relief from the warm sand, while I prepare your meal." She said as she walked the to a patio that overlooked the ocean.
Once they were seated, Mickey headed off then one of the serving maids brought them a cafar of water, a mug of ale for Draven and a mug of sweet juice for Khada.
"I am pretty sure she will not be preparing anything with fish." Draven made comment to Khada in regards to the food.

And even if she were...shrugged. "They'll be fine," she said "There are more than enough of them to take care of the bride. My duties don't start until the wedding day." Rhemy moved with Carmen to the table near the outside pool. "So, tell me, Carmen. How is it that you find yourself in Jamaica?"

Scarlett was startled by the voice on the other end of the line. She gasped and stammered before saying, "M-mistress?" It came out of her mouth before she even had time to think about the response. It was a natural response for her, after what she had submitted to with Tempest all those years ago. All of it had been done to get close to the Wolfram so she could end him, though she'd found herself torn. During that time she developed feeling for Tempest...but used the woman to find out where Wolfram was. The redhead put it out of her mind that she had essentially been Tempest's slave for many years and reminded herself she no longer had to call her by that name. "Tempest," she corrected herself. "Traitorous? I'll give your that much. I betrayed you. But murderous? I call it revenge. Your master deserved to die...for what he did to me and what he did to the man I loved. Yes, I used you to get to him. I'm sorry, but I don't regret it."

The two were about to leave when a vampire they had never seen before made a comment about being children to the Prince. They sat intrigued by what was transpiring before them. They wondered how many others were paying attention to what was happening.

Hating all of the pomp and circumstances that involved any of this. Hated that he had to be forced to do this. He was dangerously close to leaving without making any formal introductions¡that was until he saw who he was to meet. until he saw who was standing in front of him. He saw who this newly awakened Prince was. She was alive. After all this time...all of his worry. She was alive...But she didn't smell the same.
He humphed. "it's been so long that you do not remember the face or scent of one of your children?"

At that moment they were bathed in a warm light. Draven looked at it and felt the peace beyond. "Come my dear, it is time for is to go." He reluctantly released her from his embrace and slid his arm around her waist to start leading her to the light.

"He simply wouldn't take no know for any answer and I was afraid I was going to have to handle him like we handle his type in Brooklyn," she said with a smile of her own. "I'm Rhemy. I feel like I should buy you a drink for the rescue, should would find a better bar away from prying eyes?"

Anais blinked. Startled by the suddenness of having the most excruciating pain of her life just stop. She looked up to see that she was holding Draven's hand and he was helping her to stand. "Beloved," she said throwing herself into his arms. Holding him tight. "I am so sorry. This...this is all my fault. I never meant for this to happen or hurt you. I...I just felt so alone...so betrayed. I wanted ...wanted the pain to go away. And I reach for you and you closed yourself off to me and I thought you didn't want me anymore. I missed you. I missed you so much." She cried holding him tight.

"Oh, Bridget isn't an only child. Lily and her husband have a child, Bridget's half brother. He is about 2 now. She might not have a problem. She loves her little brother." He explained as they once again found themselves back in the town.?

The made their way to Mickey's Inn. It was a boarding house for anyone needing a room on the upper part and a small dining hall with a serving kitchen on the bottom. Mickey was a lady of about 40. She was a roundish figured lady and she loved to make sure everyone felt welcome in her establishment.

When they walked inside, "well if it isn't the truth. I had heard the Serenity had come to Port, what'll it be, Captain?" She said as she gave Draven a little punch to the arm with a smile that would melt even the coldest heart.

Carmen had watched the dark haired, dark eyed beauty as she walked to the bar. She liked what she saw and was enjoying view. She wondered why the gal seemed not to sure about being there. She had glanced at the booth where the lady's were and wondered if any of them had something to do with it.?
Then she saw that Thomas guy approach her mystery lady and saw her clearly trying to get away. He had tried the same thing with Carmen just the other night. Deciding that she would help she slid out of her booth and with a smile stepped up to Rhemy, "oh there you are. Was beginning to wonder where you had ran off to." She gave Rhemy a side wink before turning to Thomas, "thank you for keeping my girl company, now if you will excuse us."
Thomas looked at the two as Carmen slid her arm around Rhemy's waist and started leading her away from the bar and towards the dance floor. He simply shook his head, ordered a shot and looked for the next mark.
Once they were on the dance floor, Carmen watched Thomas head off in the opposite direction, "I am Carmen." She said as she kept leading Rhemy to the other side of the dancefloor and the booths.?
