After Mia left, Harrison continued to stand looking out at the city she loved. She sighed. Dealing with the fragile early adult ego was challenging.?

She heard voices on the roof. Voice she recognized as Kites and...Raine? Was he sneaking in to see Ireland again. Well at least he still check on his sister. But after the situation with Brandon this morning, she wondered if seeing Ireland right now, when she was angry would be good for Raine. Both Raine and Brandon were so temperamental and both had such sensitive egos that they tended to bruise easily and an angry Ireland was not pleasant to deal with.

She was just about to walk over to the other side of the roof where the pair stood when her email alert came over her Apple Watch.

I’m on the roof sitting under the gazebo Brandon. I’ll wait for you here.”

Getting to the roof was pretty easy.? But under the circumstances he doubted even his powers would bring him any joy right now.? He took the stairs up and the moved to the roof.? Ireland thought she had hurt him before...but nothing hurt more than what she had just said.? 'She didn't love him and no longer wanted to be his sister...the first part she didn't say exactly...but she might as well have.? Seems like everyone wondered why he pushed them away...this was why!? It hurt too much to deal with his family, their rejection and disappointment.? He thought family was safe!? It wasn't today!? He could deal with criticism, he could but the constant attack...yeah that wasn't the way he saw things.? He realized, this was not how he wanted his life to be.

It wasn't all about him, it truly wasn't but he had failed them and himself.? The demotion he could deal with, not a big deal.? It hurt but it was...what it was!? Even her being the leader he could listen to her and trusted her.? That was fine too.? He felt bad that she cried sure it hurt, but she didn't take the job away so he couldn't blame her...his parents did, but that was his fault too.? But when he tried to apologize and tell her things were fine she damn near bit his head off.? Then the program was shut down...he understood what his father said but in truth had he lead them better they would have been much more cohesive and responsible but he was still butt hurt about the promotion.? Then when he went to father it seems he not only undermined the man but hurt his feelings as well.? Then when he went to see Ireland she kicked him in the balls, stabbed him in the heart and pushed him away as well.? So why what he going to Harrison now?? To make the circle complete!

When he got to the top of the stairs.? He opened the door and went over to the gazebo.? He sat down next to her and just waited.? "So mom, tell me how I have wronged you and where I have failed?"? She was far more straight forward?than his father.? "Go ahead, I can take it."? He was ready.
